Location is the best and only good thing about Church Corner. The rent is high per square foot, even for the Cambridge area. The apartment I moved into wasn't renovated (but was the only one available at the time), so I lived with stained carpet and old
appliances. One or both of the elevators was broken for almost a year. The garage doors to the parking garage often don't respond to the flimsy garage key cards. Packages are often left outside the main doors or in the lobby and get stolen.
Management is weak and people often ignore her numerous fliers reminding everyone of building policies - polices are broken constantly because there are no repercussions.
If location isn't crucial, then I would avoid this apartment building - I never met anyone in the building who was actually happy to live there (except the building manager).
I rented from spring '06 through summer '08.
