I was one of the first tenants to move into The Summit and I have to say am still very impressed with the quality of the interiors, fixtures, paint color-not just bland white and the security of the locked door to the entrance of the building. I LOVE my bathroom and closet. The closet space is great. The pantry is huge. The master bedroom is very generous allowing a King bed to fit perfect. I have the model that has 2 bedrooms and has the "alcove" which is great as a small office or could be used for an exercise room. The car care area is nice to have in a jam for the vacuum and hose. The exercise gym is small but nice to use. The trash gets picked up daily at your front door! The balcony is a bit small, and there is no storage other than what is in your apt. I think the kitchen is fabulous. Ample room for several people in their at one time and the appliances are updated and modern. Microwave included as well as an ice maker. Nice sink with faucet style spray hose and 2 different settings that is so great for many things. The washer/dryer is perfectly hidden away in a closet in the kitchen. As time has gone on, the only thing I would have to say that you don't know until you move in is how easily you can hear your upstairs and next door neighbors walking, tv, talking, music and a variety of other things.... lol...etc... This would have to be the most negative thing I can say about the apt. If you can stand to move to the 3rd floor(about 35 steps up) I'd say do it. I'd also suggest moving to the buildings that face away from the parking lots and furthest away from High Falcon Rd. As previous renters have stated, parking can be atrocious if you get home late or have a larger than compact vehicle, or have a large group of people over. The spaces are tight. I haven't found holidays that bad for parking, since most people here go home for holidays it seems. If you like serenity and nature, you will love that Deer, Rabbits, Raccoons, Oppossum and the occasional Fox are safely right in your backyard in those apartments facing the woods. I would also recommend an end unit, you get an awesome cross breeze through the windows. Hope this helps. I rented from spring '06 through summer '08. ...
