She has at least dispatched someone to fix the easily fixable issues that arise, such as closet coming off track, blinds breaking, clogged sink, etc. Maintenance is a constant issue because its an OLD building so things are constantly falling apart. The maintenance men are a hairline away from retarded. You cannot even have a conversation with them because they just cut you off and try to say what they think you want to hear(kind of like a used car salesman). The ------- one just whistles and pretends like he knows what your talking about. As far as the roaches, I am a neat neat neat FREAK and is down right digusting to come home and see little roaches creeping around my kitchen like they own the place, day or night. I have been complaining time and time again to get the RAT problem taken care of but I have been there a 11 months 14 days(notice Im counting the days) and they are still a HUGE problem. If you dont mind going on a trip only to find that there are rat turds in your bags and all over your clothes, this is the place for you. I was watching t.v. once and one almost the size of a tennis ball darted behind my t.v. and almost gave us a heart attack. Noise I cant really comment on because I was on the third floor thank God! Grounds are ok. I havent seen too much to comment on about that. I havent heard of any cars being broken into. Parking SUCKS!!! I got a $50 ticket for parking on the street because there were no spaces in the lot. My roomate got 3!!! Overall just the rats, roaches, and parking are enough to make you wanna swan dive head first of the 3rd floor! I have 2 more weeks and I CANT WAIT! I am not a bitter person, I say this to give a helping hand to those seeking apts. If you can withstand the agony of what I just told you then this is the place for you! P.S. For your own good, listen to me. I just called the leasing "professional" today to get my money back for the deposit and she only gave me $215 back out of $800, even after I steam cleaned, spackled, and bleached the entire house so that no one else would have to live through that stuff.
