While I didn't have the worst experience with College Towne Apartments, and DTN management, it was not the best either. Upon moving in I was disappointed in cleanliness of the apartment. Then there was some safety issues with non-residents constantly breaking into apartments, as well as a shooting during my time there. When moving out I was told rent was pro-rated then a month after the lease ended and I was no longer living there they changed their minds and ended up charging me more money. Besides theses issues, I kept to myself and didn't bother with management much. ...

I first applied to sublease in late April, with the intention of moving-in in May. The entire reason I agreed to take the sublease was because an employee told me that July would be a half payment because the lease was up halfway through the month. We'll get to that. After turning in all my paperwork, and not hearing anything for a week, I called. The clerk on the phone said they found my paperwork and put it on their boss' desk for approval. 4 more days pass. I call again. This time, the clerk lets me know that the woman who was handling my application has been let go and I have to resubmit everything and wait AGAIN. Finally I'm approved. It is now early May. I go in to sign the sublease with the friends I'm leasing from. They had a pet who would be moving with them, and the office assured us the pet fee would be removed. Come June, it still had not been and it took them over a week to remove it from the bill. Here's July. They are charging me for the full month, despite the fact my lease is up halfway through, and despite what THEIR employee told me. The office manager insist that the employee would never have told me that. I leave the office and call the friends I'm leasing from. They both agree that we were absolutely told that July would be half off. The disorganization, attitude, and poor communication of this office is harmful to the leasers. I rented from summer 2019 through summer 2019. ...

College Towne was such a better deal than I imagined it would be. The put brand new windows and a new kitchen in my apartment. The windows make it so much quieter. They just opened a new gym with some new cardio equipment too. It also has a lounge with a fire place that over looks the pool. I love to study there! Don't rent really close to campus it's not worth the price when you can get all of this for less. Plus they always have free food and Red Bull. My neighbor does suck but I really like it here. I rented from fall 10 through summer 11. ...

DTN at college towne west is a horrable place to live. they make it look all super fun with the pool and gym, however, their business behavior is bar none the worst experience I have ever had, not to mention my second floor apartment was broken into becuase someone hopped the balcony and stole a ton of stuff and left the front door wide open when they left. Also if you do not tell them you are resigning two months after you signed your lease they will rent out your apartment and force you into a smaller unit then jack the rent. so when you are forced to move, they will not in anyway try to work with you on possibly getting out of the lease a little early. (15-10 days). On top of that, the pluming is aweful, there was moldy stains under the lenolium in the bathroom that they refused to fix. the dishwasher was molded, wouldn't come take care of that, the windows didn't lock, the patio had birds nesting all over so they pooped everywherre and sreached ALL night. plus the constant noise of lawn care garbage trucks every day. this place was the WORST renting experience I have EVER had! The staff is extremely rude if you have any kind of issue with the way things are handled. and the Manager of customer relations is an utter see you next tueday! good luck if you move there! I rented from winter 10 through summer 11. ...

Horrible Staff. I live here now and they have a manager that is never in and won't return messages. They are really nice until you move in. you are then treated as a number. Oh, and if you don't renew your lease after you've told them no 6 times they still continue to harass you. Don't live here. I rented from fall 10 through summer 11. ...

To begin with these apartments have the absolute worst upkeep. The walls are thin, the floors are hollow. The management has been nothing but a huge pain in the ass to deal with. We requested our dryer be repaired and it took them 3 weeks before it actually got fixed. They blindly placed us with 2 roommates that they clearly did not compare personlity profiles with. Rather they put them with us because of space availability, and ignored our complaints. One of our new underage roommates they forced upon us decided to leave beer cans on the balcony, so the apartment complex decides to give all residents of the apartment a $50 charge each! I was thrilled to come back from being out of state and find out about this fine that was incurred while I was gone. The management must think I enjoy spending all my time worrying about and correcting all the poor decisions they make. They are supposed to have quiet hours after 11pm, but ohh no, that's when the loud music starts to play. Broken glass all over the parking lot on the weekends, people lingering around outside all hours of the night, and dog droppings all over the sidewalks and lawn. If you have a life, job, or go to school, don't live here! I rented from spring '08 through fall '08. ...
