One of the worst apartments in the vicinity of campus. Price gouging of the highest caliber - raising rent 50-100$/month every year, letting people rent from September until August then renew August to August knowing full well that there will not be any places available to rent if you do not renew. $350 fee to swap apartment suites. Another $350 if you want it cleaned before you move in otherwise take the suite as is. But if you're moving out, another cleaning fee. What a joke. Ammenities are a joke - they cannot trust residents with cups for their "free coffee/tea/latte" machine or paper for their "free printing". Hot tub smells like piss. Pool tables are so uneven and the cue sticks are always broken or missing. Microwaves always trips the damn breaker - maintenance knows its wired incorrectly and always trips. Smoke detector goes off simply melting butter in a pan with the fan on high. Standing shower foundation was done incorrectly so the water always pools in one random corner. Water contains serratia marcescens which forms a pink colored biofilm overtime on any surface that the water touches. Water always splashes outside because the person who installed the curtain rod installed it a few inches higher than the standard curtain height. Front door security is always hanging out with random female residents at night instead of doing their damn job. Have to run to the main office to sign out a key to grab your heavy package and bring it back to the front desk to prove its your package before you can take it upstairs - doesn't matter if you just ordered like a 90 lbs desk. No trolley or anything to help you move things within the building either by the way. Elevators take 15 minutes to arrive in the mornings, penthouse tenant button is a literal joke - it does not work any differently than a regular elevator button. Sometimes the elevators smells like piss, no joke. Noise complaints are always ignored because the occupants making so much noise are homies with the staff. Literal dog shit on the carpet in the hallway that has stained and crusted over. Flood damages to the walls (from a year ago) that have not been repaired. Staircase literally has dog shit smeared on the floor likely due to someone accidentally stepping on it already. Dogs barking constantly and because owners pay rent for their animals, the building staff won't do anything about it. Front door is fob-access only meaning the security just sits inside and watches Netflix as your delivery person drops off your food and the local homeless population enjoys food that you had ordered, paid for, and waited on for the past 40 minutes because they couldn't just drop the food off on the perfectly fine counter 2 meters away manned by the hired security. All in all, been here for the entire time I have gone to the U and if it wasn't for difficulties in finding a suitable replacement in August and my laziness, I would have definitely moved to a cheaper, bigger, cleaner, and quieter apartment complex that is quite literally within a block or two. Hopefully, this saves somebody the time they would of ended up wasting with renewing or signing a new lease for. Best regards, -Holding all of the frustration in for the past 3-4 years and can't wait to leave this place asap. ...

Hub Minneapolis is a good place to live. The amenities are great and the location is even better for students, especially those attending the University of Minnesota. It is a bit pricey, but many apartments in the city are.

I had lived in Hub Minneapolis for about 2 years and it had been a great experience for me as a hard-working college student. Since I was interested in the location and rental fee when it comes to considering the off-campus housing (time management and money are of great importance to college students), Hub Minneapolis was the right fit for me. The apartment is located at the center of the East Bank and within a five-minute walk from the East Bank station. This made my life easy since most of my classes were offered in East Bank and thus I had been able to go home whenever I missed some school materials or have to eat (lunch or dinner). These had saved me time and extra money such as transportation costs or costs of eating out since it did not take much time to go all the way from the school to home, and vice versa. Hub Minneapolis also provides amenities to enhance the general well-being of residents and I had been able to maintain a healthy lifestyle due to the 24-hour fitness center, swimming pool, and yoga room, etc. Since this apartment costs as same as many apartments around the East bank campus and is very popular with the students and faculties (There must be additional benefits that I did not list here since many people strongly wish for living here), I would highly recommend you guys to have a chance to live in Hub Minneapolis! ...

I love the amenities that this apartment offers, they allow me to meet plenty of people and relax after a long day of classes. My room is absolutely gorgeous as well, I am lucky to have a wrap around balcony with views of the city. The location is great; I am minutes from campus and I am so close to stores and restaurants. I could not be happier to live on such a beautiful apartment ...
