We rented fall of 2012 through spring of 2013. 2 bedroom apartment, one room was shared with two people, the other bedroom was one person. one bathroom. Where to begin.... First of all, If you plan on having ANY privacy in your apartment, do NOT live in this complex. The walls do not even go up to the ceilings, and they are paper thin, providing no sound barrier. You could literally sit in the living room, whisper to the person next to you, and be heard in the farthest away bedroom. Hopefully you like your roommates, and forget any privacy with your boyfriend or girlfriend. don't be fooled by the first impression of the apartment. It looks nice at first, but once you move in you will realize the thin walls, the cheap and dirty carpet, the unhinging pantry doors, cheap faucets, lack of hot water heater. Basically, you will realize that you live in a refurbished parking garage. If you actually plan on studying and passing school and occasionally studying on the weekends this is NOT the place for you. On to the management: Come prepared to calculate your own rent and costs, because chances are, they won't know how to do it for you! We were given numerous different numbers and it made the leasing process very confusing and disorganized. If you do decide to live here, be ready for people strictly driven by money, rent will increase significantly every year and they try to charge you for every little thing possible. BEWARE OF THE NAZI BUILDING MANAGER. She is small, but intimidating and will treat you as if you are her child. As a tenant, overall this living experience has revealed the managing staff to be very disrespectful, the apartment to be cheaply composed, and the living experience to be disappointing. Good luck, rent a house. I rented from fall 10 through spring 11. ...

I would not suggest living here or allowing your son or daughter to stay here. It is loud, lots of loud parties, disrespectfully tenants, lots of partiers destroying the carpets and walls in common spaces, gym equipment is either broke or in poor condition, and laundry facilities on the first floor are in poor shape, and several of things that could be mentioned. However, the biggest frustration was working with old and new management about a new lease. I was living in a two bedroom for six months, and I did not receive any advanced notice. They did give me a 30 day notice only after I went and spoke to them. The kicker was that I had to give a 30 day notice to vacate, so that was tough. So when I asked about the rent for the new lease, they told me they wanted fair market value. They wanted $1295.00, $520.00 increase. Plus, they have units with no real windows. They just look out on the hallway, depressing. At least for me because I lived in one until a unit with real windows opened up. I also had an issue with security not responding to a young lady having issues and trespassers in the pool. I called the 24 hour number and they did not respond or even care. They told me to call the police. I could go on with more, but when it comes down to it. Do not live there, there are lots better places to live. I rented from winter '08 through spring 11. ...

Do not live in this apartment unless all you want is to be loud and drunk. If at any time you want to sleep or study, do no live here. The leasing agents in the office are rude, unprofessional, and usually unable to answer your questions. There are out of control parties and the security of the building is poor. At the end of March, I was awoken at 4am to the sounds of a girl being beaten in the stairwell. I called the 'on call security.' He did not answer the phone. I had to call 911. The leasing agent accused me of making it up and said that the STLPD and SLU's DPS department had confirmed that what I heard was a robbery outside of the building. However, when I contacted both departments, the robbery had taken place a block away and 30 minutes prior to when I called the security guard. The leasing agent, was in fact, the liar. When I moved out, the agent REFUSED to do a walk through while I was present, even though that is against the law in the state of MO. Furthermore, I did not get my SD back until 60 days after the lease ended. It is illegal in the state of MO to keep the SD longer than 30 days post lease ending. The company also failed to send me an itemized deductions list explaining why they kept some of my money (also against the law in MO). I have filed a complaint with the local BBB. This is just one of many, many reasons to not live there. I rented from fall '07 through spring '08. ...
