I am currently a resident at The Den, and I enjoy living there. The rent is affordable, there are plenty of amenities included, and it's a great environment for pet lovers. I would highly recommend living here.

Don't be surprised by the pretty front facade. This is by far the absolute worst place I have ever lived and I have lived in multiple complexes throughout Columbia. The pool was open for only a few weeks this year for unknown reasons, which is a big reason people like living here. People keep getting robbed here as almost none of the parking lot lights are on at night. In fact, a tenant was allegedly robbed at gunpoint and they tried to steal his car. There are also ZERO security cameras on the exterior of the buildings so nothing can be recorded. The corridors smell horrible and are never cleaned. Maintenance takes usually a week to respond to requests. The WiFi is extremely slow even during the summer that you can barely even watch Netflix. The management that took over The Den is horrible and does not care about its tenants. The front desk attendants fall under this category as well. Nothing is ever resolved. None of the staff wear masks either which is currently mandated in Columbia and they close the study rooms at 5pm every day for security reasons when they choose to not use the electronic locks currently installed for this reason. I will not be renewing my lease. Be careful! This place will suck you dry of not only money but patience. Do not sign here. You'd be better off anywhere else. ...

My experience here so far has been an okay experience. As a transfer student I was searching for something nice and affordable and The den was both. I enjoy the cool things they have at the apartment.
