Aztec Corner is a clean, convenient building for students. It's so nice to be able to walk to campus and not have to worry about parking! The noise level truly depends on your neighbors, but people are typically pretty respectful.

It has been very quiet and that could be because of Covid but overall it has been a nice place t live. The grounds are fairly new and there is a lot of parking both covered and not covered. The only issue I have is that the trash is outside instead of a
chute and you may have to bring your some extra lights/lamps. The rooms are large the kitchen has new appliances and the bathrooms are clean and large.

This was one of my favorite places I stayed while I went to SDSU. We had a top floor unit that overlooked the soccer stadium. I would love sitting out on the patio with my roommates and get to watch the boy soccer team play. Our place was spacious, had a
homie feel and was in close distance to all the right places! So many good memories at this place!

Before Aztec Corner was bought by the university, It was filled with constant issues. You typically can't expect much from a college apartment, but for the price I was paying for a shared room, I would have hoped the place wasn't falling apart at the
seams. The window shades would break from a simple touch and we were charged for carpet cleaning even though it had been dirty since the day we moved in. It was pretty much a monthly occurrence I would file a maintenance complaint that would maybe get completed if I badgered them for a while. I hope now that the school has bought the building they have funneled some money until improvements.

Upon moving into Aztec Corner, in August, the A/C was broken. While they came to look at it that day, it took the maintenance staff over 4 months to fix it. They came to look at it numerous times after having 'fixed' it previously by a different person
each time and even resulted in water damage to the carpet below it. The leasing office staff really were great customer service people but the apartment furnishings are definitely outdated and in need of preventative maintenance. However, it is a college apartment so not much is expected and it's very close to campus. There is always noise though, especially from the loud slamming gates.
