I really liked living off-campus it gave me the sense to explore my interests and actually mature as an individual. There is a different responsibility that you take on living on your own and it really gives you a taste of what it's like to be an adult

The apartment is perfectly fine for encompassing the college experience. It is the cheapest apartment in Hoboken, Nj that was available at the time, within walking distance to school, the store, laundromat, and the Path. Grand St. is a quirky place, with the nicest people on both sides of the street. While you see a few drug deals per week, you never feel in danger, and everyone is very respectful, minding their own business. Haven't had too many complaints besides the upkeep has been left behind. The owners are cheap, and the fourth floor being an AirBnB creates a random experience every 4 weeks. Overall satisfied and overwhelmingly lucky, to feel safe in an apartment that I will call home for yet another year. Even if the oven is obscurely placed. ...

Was very quiet with was very good as I can study throughout the nights and even during the days as well. Was quite close to my family members so I always had some form of company. Would def stay there again

For the price point it is a very good deal. However, you cannot choose your roommates which can be a downside. It is managed by a sub landlord who has very good customer service, but I have not had good experiences with the super. There was an issue with rats, and some damages. ...

I was an off campus commuter. Being a commuter in your freshman year may definitely be tough, however it gives you lots of experience for an independent lifestyle as well as familiarity with your neighborhood and subway stations.

It is very good overall. I am an international student so I stay with my friends from other colleges too so it's fun and the campus is easily accessible through the light rail. Its a quiet residential area.

My experience is mixed honestly. In the apartment my neighbors are very loud and a bit entitled. My roommates are a little rude but I ignore them for the most part. The annoying thing about shared spaces is people don't like to clean up after themselves and that is the most frustrating part. The neighborhood is beautiful for the most part. 10 minutes (by car) away from New York City beaches Brighton, Coney, Bergen, and Manhattan beach. The surroundings are nice as well as the staff. The building is located near a multitude of stores and restaurants so food and shopping can easily be done. Shopping for groceries is also pretty easy and affordable.

Apartment is joined to two other apartments. It is a very nice neighborhood however can be expensive if you are unable to obtain a roommate. There is alot of local shopping available and abundant access to public transportation.

My experience in this apartment has been quite enjoyable. The area is very quiet and the people here are very nice too. After 10pm you have to be very mindful of your steps. I often tiptoe after 10pm because I am scared I will receive another noise complaint. Other than that, the apartment is great! ...

I really like my apartment because it's spacious and has high ceilings. It also has a balcony which has been invaluable during the pandemic. I can still spend time outside and read and do homework. It's great to have that option available.
