I somewhat liked the experience living at Prairie Pointe Student Living. There was definitely problems while living there, though. The fire alarms would go off in the middle of the night (one night, it went off 5 times from 12am-6am), the maintenance
isnβt too concerned to make a fast fix. People in the office can also be a little unfair to people.

It has been sad to think about the fact that without the coronavirus I could have had a totally different experience here, but it is still a great place to live at. The Prairie Pointe employees are friendly and helpful. There are free cappuccinos and hot
chocolate. As well as free popcorn. The living space is amazing and there are two fridges, two freezers, and a pantry. It is much nicer than any of the other apartment options nearby if you are looking to go to DMACC in Ankeny and have in-person classes. The maintenance guys are also very helpful, hardworking, and fast when contacted for a maintenance request. You can either make an appointment or tell them to come as soon as possible. You can also choose your roommate. I made a great and true friend through my Prairie Pointe experience. Overall, I am glad that I chose Prairie Pointe. I hope that whoever lives there in the future has the same great experience that I do everyday while living there.

I have had an overall good experience at Prairie Pointe. I believe it is a great first apartment. Although it is pricey, rent includes everything(gas, electric, free gym membership, clubhouse access, etc.). What I like most about Prairie Pointe is that
it's like a small community. I have met so many new people my age, that are now lifelong friends. Another great thing is the convenience, being located right next to the DMACC campus, and a Hyvee right up the road.
