Every interaction I had with management involved them screaming and/or lying to me about extremely basic information. It was filthy and loud and generally awful. There were fewer parking spaces than there were cars registered to the apartment, so we
would have to park at the mall across the street if we wanted to park overnight as residents. The number of times I found human vomit and feces in the hallways and common areas was disgusting. Parties were held at all hours, and construction went on from 4am-7am directly outside my bedroom. I was catcalled by the construction workers there, and the management laughed at me for asking them to do something about it. When I finally moved out, they illegally held my deposit for several months. This is the worst place I have ever lived, and I would not recommend it to anyoen.

It was less than a stellar experience. While I mostly kept to myself during my time at the Union at Dearborn, most experiences with other tenants were trying. Many were loud, disruptive, and downright dirty. Maintenance was middling but not always
unhelpful. If it weren't so expensive to live there I wouldn't have minded but at $800+ a month for a 4 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment it was not worth it.

I have been living here for my freshman year and I have had a great experience. The staff is always very accommodating always there to answer any questions and covid safety precautions are always enforced.

The Union is technically off-campus because they are not affiliated with the school but it is located just across the street. I love the involvement that they offer to the residents and the amenities. They have a gym, game room, and many spaces for
studying and hanging out.

You'd be better off getting a real one bedroom apartment or finding a roommate and getting a two bedroom as opposed to living in that matchbox they call a dorm room. Living there was a waste of money, I could've save about 2 grand in loans had I known
better. I'm glad I got out when I did, otherwise I would have a lot more in loans for no reason. The apartment I live in now is only 20 dollars more in rent and I have the WHOLE place to myself. Read that again. I have an entire 820 sq ft apartment to myself, and I'm paying basically the same amount as I was to SHARE an apartment with 3 other people. Plus, I found out there were people who stayed in a 2 bedroom paying less than I was (780) to stay in a 4 bedroom. If you're really in need of a place to stay, it's decent enough, but not worth the money honestly. Use your financial aid to get your own apartment

I've lived at the Union at Dearborn for 4 years now. It's super convenient based on its proximity to campus, however, it's hard to contact them with questions because they only have an answering service and sometimes they forget to call back. I love that
they host events that help you get out of your room and interact with others in the building and overall the apartments are super nice. All they lack is customer service from time to time.
