I enjoyed living at University Quarters overall. The spaces were pretty nice, utilities were relatively inexpensive. My apartment was pretty small and I got a "deal" on it at $895 a month for 495 square feet 1 bed (before utilities). Student housing is
incredibly expensive wherever you go, but the location and nice, open space sold it for me. The property is a block walk from campus, but not quite "west campus" madness. Up the street is the wonderful Spiderhouse Café and Ballroom, and across the street is a lovely park. Location is prime, but again, quite pricey.
There was an issue with roaches during the start of the least (late Summer) and the end (Early Summer), but that's Texas! The management handled it, though it took many calls and follow-ups. Street noise is mild-to-moderate. Otherwise, no issues with anything else.
