Vertex is a good apartment to live in. The campus is modern, has a lot of amenities for the use of the residents. The apartments are spacious for the price of rent. It is a little on the bit on the expensive side, but if one can get an discount that would be the way to go about living there. I did not like that the apartments did not let me drop my lease during Covid. They are very stingy in that aspect. Be very sure that you are going to live there with no exceptions, because you only have three day after you sign to cancel. ...

Neighbors are a bit loud but very close to FSU and there stadiums. The apartment interior is nice but we do often run into problems with water. Water has been turned off multiple times and the faucet water is not very healthy drinking water.

Vertex is vastly overpriced for the space, the thinness of walls, and the lack of grounds maintenance (missing lightbulbs, doors not working, parking garage gate broken). Apartments near colleges are always more expensive, but I'd rather go a couple of roads down and pay half as much with half as many roommates for twice the space. ...
