The Westend was sold about a year after I moved there and the owner/staff was changed. We often had troubles with maintenance issues being fixed in a timely manner (the maintenance people were great, the new owner was at fault), we went over 24 hours without heat during the winter, there was awful smell in our entire building that took months to fix (they wouldn't even show the building to new residents it smelled so bad), and the grounds in general were dirty and unkept. I would recommend this place if it Iret hadn't bought it. I would actually recommend checking any apartment buildings and ensuring that is isn't owned by Iret, everyone I know has had a terrible experience with them. ...
