My wife and I have lived here for 2 years. On the up side, you have a gated parking garage, a decent work-out facility, and it is relatively close to campus. On the down side, the gates are often open due to "maintenance" issues and the machines at the gym frequently need maintenance and are slow to be fixed. Also, walls are paper thin and hallways/courtyards echo. If you think you would like a pool view, think again, because the premium you will be paying is not worth being jolted awake by the people talking/yelling in the courtyard area (happens all the time in the summer). If you like hot showers, better shower quickly because the hot water does not last long. My wife and I learned to shower at the same time so we could both have some hot water (if we didn't, must space out showers 2+ hrs). I once told them about trash building up in the stairway and it took them 3 weeks and 5 calls to get it taken care of (it was stinking up the entire stairway by the garage). Blue Devil Weekend is the best time to live here - they clean up the hallways, power wash the cement, put out a new rug by the mailbox, add a towel rack to the gym (that is typically empty unless they are having apartment tours) and plant flowers in the courtyard/entry. PLUSES: location, gated garage, decent gym, Blue Devil Weekend perks MINUSES: management, hot water issues, thin walls, courtyard and hallways echo, price per square foot comparable to large metropolitan cities. I rented from summer '06 through summer '08. ...
