I moved out of the dorms after my first semester at UNCG, best decision I made this year (better than not taking morning classes). I popped in one afternoon, took a tour of the place and filled out an application. It was that easy, they had a lease typed
for me that afternoon and got me moved in within 48 hours of my lease signing. Second semester all my friends were wanting to come and hang out at my apartment. I recommend it to any college students because of the affordability and location to most colleges. They set me up with a room mate that I can get along with, and even let me move into a room with a friend of mine who also moved out there, with no hassle!
I rented from winter '07 through fall '08.

Place is awesome, nice management, and great tenants. I am renewing my lease and they even gave me cash back just to move in. I would recommend The Square to any students at the neighboring universities.

I have lived at University Square for a year and 3 months and it definitely has its perks; it's affordabe, close to UNCG and close to my favorite clubs. Building maintenance is very good about addressing issues in a timely manner and I can always count
on the community advisors to help out when there is anything that I need. The staff has also let me know about a special for renewing my lease...just one more incentive to renew, eh?

No major issues, I liked it here and plan to continue to live here. Sweet for anybody who plans on going to UNCG or any college in Greensboro cause it is so close to all of them.

When I first moved in I wasn't excited about the place but the people and management made it worth while. After going through numerous management companies the quality has declined. If you don't mind freezing in the winter because they haven't turned
the heat on or burning up in the summer because they haven't turned the air on then come on over. If having your water turned off for the whole day seems like fun this is the place for you. If you don't mind having things broken and never getting fixed you found the right spot. If you have no where else to live then by all means stay at the square because hey it's better than nothing and it's close to nothing.

The square is a cool place to live. Utilies are included in the rent price so you only have to worry about writing one check for rent, water, heat/air, internet, and amenities. They also have a residence life program that makes social life great.

The Square has its share of problems, but it's getting better.

This place has got to be the worst apartment complex in Greensboro. It's June and the air conditioning has been out for a week. They say they are going to get it fixed, but it's just ridiculous. The "free" wireless internet is slower than dial up, there
are constantly water leaks & the "secure" doors are always broken, so therefor people leave them open for anyone to get in. The front desk people are idiots, who mightaswell not even exist. The maintenace people are an even bigger joke. They hired a structures aircraft mechanic part time to do work in the building. GREAT!!! If you move here, be prepared to be in hell for a year...
