Where do I start? Lets start with "DO NOT CONSIDER this apartment complex!" Trust me, there ARE better options out there. I stayed there almost 3 years, and the overall experience of living there has gone DOWN hill to the point where I just had to move! SAFETY THERE WAS A SHOOTING OUT THERE A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO! MANAGEMENT STAFF There was different manangment when I first moved here in 2007. They were a lot nicer. Yet, the management there NOW, Renee (or however her name is spelled) is NOT nice. She, along with other staff members there, act like the tenants are bothering her when tenants call with apartment issues. I just moved away, and they gave me the HARDEST time during my move out process (they made the walk through of the apartment a LOT longer and more difficult than it had to be). Also, they're NEVER in the office! They BARELY answer the phones. It's really terrible. MAINTENANCE STAFF The maintenance man was WAY PASS CREEPY. I understand that an apartment is not the renter's property and that the maintenance man can go in without the tenant being there, but this guy was REALLY NOSEY. He'd always ask me or make comments about my personal things. One time I called for a maintenance issue. I was in the back of my apartment, I wasn't decent or anything...I walked out of my bedroom and he almost saw me naked. He was in my living room, fixing my air vent, but I didn't even hear him knock!! GROUNDS Over the last few years, the quality of the property appearance has gone down DRAMATICALLY. The stairwells in each building are not kept. They're straight up FILTHY. I often saw dog bowel movement in the stairwells and breezeways. Trash was here and there. Basically, the property MOST of the time was POORLY KEPT. PARKING Limited NOISE Frequent parties. Very noisy at times. CONSTRUCTION Being that I moved in when the apartments were BRAND NEW, it was hard to tell that the apartments are in essence "slapped together". BOTTOMLINE, THE MANAGEMENT MAY REPLY TO THIS RATING BY TRYING TO NEGATE MY REVIEW. HOWEVER, AS A POTENTIAL TENANT LOOKING FOR AN APARTMENT, YOU SHOULD THINK ABOUT IT. WHY WOULD I AS A FORMER TENANT OF THIS LESS THAN DESIRABLE APARTMENT GO IN THIS MUCH DEPTH AS TO WHY THEY ARE NOT A GOOD CHOICE. I'M TRYING TO SAVE YOU THE TROUBLE.
