Village green apartments came with a comfortable couch, mini fridges and dining table. The apartment was run down, but everything worked fine. There is a nice pool and gym. The staff are not friendly or helpful.

This is my second year living at Village Green and out of the other off campus apartment options at NC State, Village Green is the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. It is not as upscale as the others with the basic kitchen appliances, smaller bedrooms, and the carpet throughout the unit. However, maintenance is better than the other complexes from what I heard and the staff is friendly. I was disappointed when I first moved in because my roommates and I are in the back of the complex so we barely get sunlight in the apartment. Also, there were some mishaps with our couch being in bad shape and a roach problem. However, I have noticed in the past year that the staff is working hard to upgrade the apartment complex with the recent addition of new couches and desks in bedrooms. Unfortunately they are going up in rent and I do not believe the new price matches what is being offered. This is my last year in the complex because I intend to go to graduate school and do not know where I will end up. I will say the basic decor of the apartment was not a problem for me because I am low maintenance and in the end it’s just a college apartment. Although, I will not recommend this to others just because I do not want to disappoint them. ...
