If I could give this place 1 star I would, I lived here for a total of 5 years and in that 5 years we had 7 different property managers, none of them know how to run a property severely under staffed in the maintenance area they have 2 maintenance people for over 800 units +, I bought a house and turned my notice in March 2022 and wasn’t even set to move out till July well my lease expired in June we paid the month to month fee advised in my notice that the exact move out date is subject to change per previous owners moving out, advised June 20th of 2022 that we would be moving out July 24th and they said perfect got it changed you won’t pay after that date…..come August 4th Got a letter in the mail Dated July 26th 2022 stating we owe rent for 8-1 thru 8-15….and a Bill for $756 dollars but all the dates In the ledger are dating 07/23/2022 and Sunday July 25th 2022 so Many things wrong with this property company. 1. Gave more then 60 days notice after we knew we got our house and on the paper work advised that move out date is subject to change per when previous owners move out.. spoke and recorded property Manager Desiree Hiatt telling me that’s “ That’s ok when you know a for sure move out date just call and let us know and then you won’t be charged beyond that date..we will prorate everything” also would like to add I spoke to a maintenance person about my Move out after I had givin the official date i they stated they are not showing a move out till 8-15-2022 so I called the office Sarah answered advised her I was told maintenance isn’t showing my move out date till 8-15-2022 she stated “No we are showing 7/31/2022 and ur move out date and if you move sooner we will prorate what was already paid for the month of July” proceeds to tell me maintenance system doesn’t update and quick as there’s and I will no be charged after July!” So much lies and deceit on the office people part I gave proper notice over 60 days that THEY REQUIRE legally in the state of Nebraska you only have to give 30 and after June 30th I no longer had any contractual agreement with them. Also gave 40+ days notice when we had an official date from The sellers of the house we purchased! 2. Was not givin a move out inspection from anyone in the office when they where given the notice of exact move out was 07/31/2022 we actually moved out 07/24/2022 which was a Saturday turned keys in with a note stating that they failed to give me a move out inspection and that is on them. They technically owe me my prorated rent for July and my $450 deposit which est is $657. 3. NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE. Living there I would call to speak to someone in the office and no one would answer so one day I called they didn’t answer so I walked over to the office to find the property manager And two leasing agents just sitting in the property managers office talking about each other’s outfits while the phone is ringing off the hook. There customer service skills severely lack! 4. The maintenance men are over worked and underpaid they have 2 maintenance people for 800 + units and when they are turning over an apartment only give them 1 day to try and flip an apartment for the next tenants 5. The price of rent is not worth the half-assed quality of apartment example: master bedroom in my two bedroom had two exterior windows..pipes would freeze in the bathroom in the winter they brought a space heater to heat the bathroom. Bedroom was 15 degrees colder then the rest of the apartment in winter and 15 degrees hotter in the summer. I will say even tho the Maintenance men are over worked and under paid they truly are the only people that work there that actually give a Damn! 10/10 just for them being decent human beings 0/10 for the office staff and there horrible attitudes and disrespectfulness DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE LIVE HERE I truly think that the fact they have had 7 property managers in 5 years speaks on how terrible Lund Co. truly is!! ...
