I lived here for almost 4 years. I’ll start this review on the management and maintenance. The management changes like the weather. I’ve seen so many different property managers come and go, so don’t get too attached if one is good right now. When it comes to maintenance, good luck. I’ve had a random maintenance worker walk into my unit without a 24 hour notice and without knocking, while I was home alone and getting dressed. He told me he needed to take photos of a folding door they had fixed a couple days prior. And let’s talk about the door, they installed a small closet door that was covered in dirt and leaves from outside where the larger laundry door needed to be. The doors didn’t shut fully and looked awful. Good luck if you like your included appliances to work as well, we went through so much trouble trying to get our dryer to work, we had them come in and “fix” it over and over and even replace the dryer with another dirty old one they had laying around that still had lint in it from the last people who used it! It would take a full day and a half of constant running to get one regular load dry. I am not exaggerating. The “new” one they gave us also smelled like smoke the first time I ran it and I called about it and told me they’d send someone right up, no one ever came. Thanks for the free fire hazard, I guess. Everything else in the apartment is lazily put together, most things just get painted over, things will break constantly, and the water gets shut off so often we’d keep 5 emergency water gallons stored away because it would happen so much. Now for the unit itself. Get used to no privacy. The walls and floors are so thin you feel like your neighbors are your roommates. You can hear and feel everything, every door shutting, every phone call, every creak in the floor. Oh yeah, the floors creak EVERYWHERE, it feels like you’re walking on plywood. Plus you don’t get a private patio. You just need to trust people won’t come up and use or take your items on your front door “balcony”. Oh and if your upstairs or downstairs neighbors are indoor cigarette smokers please believe that the smell will come through into your apartment. It’s gross and there’s nothing they will do about it, but the issue is in how poorly this place was built. Now the community. The children who live here are feral. And I mean that. They would harass us, scream in our faces, block the stairways while we would take up groceries and not let us in our own door. We had children living underneath us who would throw balls at their ceiling all day, which would shake our rooms and make things fall. The parents mainly just scream at them which is where they learn to behave this way I assume. I just can’t believe how many kids there are here who act this way. There is no peace and quiet here. Especially in the summer because all the buildings circle around the pool, so no matter where you are in the complex you’ll be hearing children screaming all day and night. I also felt extremely unsafe living here. I’ve had to call the police over violence and fighting multiple times. The police are always just there too for reasons I probably don’t want to know. I’ve seen people break windows, every front door is covered in dents and there is no security system for the complex. Now the bugs. The roaches are your new roommate, congrats. You better get used to them if you live here. They come up through the drains and are HUGE. We also got bed bugs while living here. We are clean people and make sure to keep our apartment nice but those bed bugs were relentless and caused so much trauma trying to get rid of them. Oh and I hope you like leaf blowers outside your window at 9am Saturday mornings. For HOURS. But no one will fix the bushes that look like they’ve been ripped out of the ground and are just hanging there. This place is a h*ll hole and will suck out your soul. It’s unlivable and I’m sorry if you have to live here. But please take my warning and find a better complex if you’re looking right now. It’s not going to get better, these people want your money and don’t care about you in the slightest. Do not be fooled. ...
