My experience at The Edge was pretty good. It is located just across the street from CSUs Law building, making it very easy to access the campus. Since it was considered "off campus housing" rules were applied, but not followed. Often times there were large parties in the larger apartments, and noise from the courtyard carried right up the building as it is U shaped. Nothing security could never take care of. The building itself was brand new, we were first year tenants at The Edge. It was me and 1 roommate. We both had single rooms, good sized too. Walk in closets, and private bathrooms, also very large. The bedrooms come with a full size bed, so no more sleeping in a twin XL dorm bed! The safety in the building was great, the keys were magnetic so they had to be programed to the building and your room, they would not open another apartment. They also gave you an app for your phone that would allow you to let guests in, without having to leave your apartment. All mail went to your mailbox, and packages went to a locked room with lockers that you had to use a special code to open. At night there was also a security guard which allowed for added safety, and monitoring for large parties. The Edge also has many study rooms, and nooks. As well as awesome common areas on the first and top floors. There is also a gated back courtyard with fireplace, and grills for cooking. Another great perk, they have their own parking garage which is only accessible with a magnetic window sticker, which means no more searching for parking downtown! ...

I have lived at The Edge throughout my entire undergraduate program. The building is well-maintained and safe. There are plenty of amenities. The rooms are the best in the area with a personal washer and dryer and separate bedrooms and bathrooms for each individual. The staff is kind and helps with any questions or issues that arise. Overall, I have been so grateful to have lived at The Edge while attending CSU. It is right across the street from campus so I am never late. I am able to relax and focus on my studies. It has been a good experience. ...

It was a very nice place to live for my first year of college. Although we had some issues with our apartment, maintenance was always very helpful and quick to fix the issues. The only downside is that this is a very expensive apartment. Between rent, electric, and parking, I have found it to be somewhat difficult to live here as an independent first year college student. However, with the amenities and location, which is literally across the street from campus, you cannot get any better pricing. ...

I looooved what I did with my apartment. It's a really cute space that's perfect for all students. You pay by the bed so it's nice having an independent lease from your roommates and your rent will be unaffected. However, they always try to overcharge in utilities (sometimes it just felt like they were robbing me of over $100. They also hire students to work in their office, probably to make the space more inviting, but they don't always hire the most professional students. ...

It has been pretty terrible to be completely honest. My bedroom and bathroom doors do not lock, the sinks are built in such a way that water does not flow down the drain, our apartment started filling with smoke when we turned on the heat because they never changed the filter, neighbors are constantly noisy, you are unable to call the front desk in the building, security refuses to follow COVID protocols even though those are the people we are supposed to report violations to, had a homeless man walk into my study room and then he fell asleep in the hallway of the 4th floor and I am constantly getting calls from management asking me to sign a lease when I already live here. ...
