I have lived here 13 months and am leaving because I purchased a house. When I looked at renewing lease while I looked for house, my employee discount was mysteriously no longer available. Since moving here there have been multiple changes in the staff in the leasing office with staff seeming to last 3-4 months. The current staff lost my rent check after I handed it to someone the same time I turned in my 60 days notice. Then the only notification I received that the they were going to start eviction process was through an email. My email address was only provided after they asked for it for monthly newsletter. Never did I okay the use of my email as my primary mode of communication since I don't check it regularly. I call and finally get a hold of Beth (the staff member who emailed me) and told her I gave rent to someone and would be in after work and I could provide bank account showing the missing check number. I don't have duplicate checks so that's the only proof I have. She's not there when I finally get there but another staff member, Charity, knew about situation, was actually polite and asked if I could write a replacement. I specifically asked if I needed late fees, she said no, I left happy. The day later I got another email asking for late fees. Since they didn't document receiving a check, it didn't happen. Parking is pretty limited. The internet service is $20/month and unreliable. The "24 hour" community center has been locked after dark and the printer in the business center hasn't worked the multiple times I've tried to use it. The only positives are apartments themselves are pretty nice and large. The maintenance guys are the nicest people here, they are very prompt and have done good job on everything I've called on. I rented from winter 10 through winter 11. ...
