Ok, I'm warning you now, this is going to be a very extensive review because it's literally EVERYTHING I know about Isola Bella, and you obviously want to know HOW I know all of this, it's because I've been in this hell hole for a very long time. Ok so the first thing I'm going to talk about in this review is the staff. We are going to start with Melissa. For those of you that know her, (lots don't because she makes herself hidden in the shadows) you may have mixed feelings on her. She's nice to the people that kiss her butt all day, and bow down to her, but if you cross paths with this witch on a bad day, or she doesn't like you for some reason (or you are black, hispanic...yes she is racist) then she will make your life a living hell here at isola bella. I've seen the way she treats people of color, and she is horrible to them. There was this couple that had horrible problems with flooding in their apartment, and she pretended to care, and take care of them, but she now wont get back to them on things she promised to replace. There was another couple that had flooding issues, and Melissa didn't pay any attention to them and they had black mold in their apartment with 2 young children. Another --- couple that was living here was harrassed and stalked by another member of the isola bella staff, and Melissa knew about it, and PROMOTED that girl to manager!! So --- couples beware! You may have AMANDA THE STALKER to worry about! I've heard so many tenants complain about their flooring, and nothing has been done about it. They dont care. As long as corporate side has been taken care of, isola bella thinks they can rest at ease. Everyone is afraid to talk about Melissa in fear that they will get evicted. Melissa LOVES to evict people and that is her power. As a witch, that is her ONLY power and she uses it often. She's so mean, and the sad thing is, she loves knowing that! All she wants it to make sure corporate is happy. Not the actual tenants that PAY HER. She looks down upon normal tenants. Like we are scum. She tries to avoid them at all costs too, so if you have a DOOZIE of a problem, your pretty much screwed, because she wont fix it unless it looks bad on isola bella. That's literally ALL she cares about. Ok so enough about the wicked witch from the NorthWest, lets move on to Amanda. ok I know SOOO many people have complaints about her, including myself because this woman is just not right in the head. First off this woman is allowed to have her VICIOUS pitbull, (yes look down at the other comments of isola bella and the other people can vouch for that) on premises, and YES this pitbull has tried to attack SEVERAL dogs, including mine, but she just thinks he's the best dog in the world. I remember walking my dog, and i saw her with her dog, and i started going the other way and her dog RUNS FULL FORCE at another person, KNOCKS amanda on her butt, and drags her a ways....I'm going to tell you I couldn't help but laugh. But at the same time it is scary. Mostly if you are new here, and have children, just be careful. Ok so Amanda is ---, and i'm totally ok with that. It's the fact that her and her girlfriend are total trash. Amanda flaunts and flirts around to a lot of other women constantly, and has actually stalked this one couple. She's told other people about what she's done, (obviously, or how would I know) and she's very proud of it too. She was obsessed with this couple. Amanda's story is well known through the complex beacuse this girl cannot keep her mouth shut. Then shortly after all of this drama with Amanda, MELISSA (big boss) PROMOTES HER! I do not understand it, and now that she's promoted, she is cockier than ever. The couple I was talking about'' Remember'' Well they are trying to move out, and since Amanda is mad at them for tattling on her, she decides to make a bad report on their renter's history! So again please beware of how close you get with isola staff. If you make them mad or rub them the wrong way, they WILL make sure you are totally screwed. Ok so now we move on to Brad. Not much to say about him, except for he is a jerk, and i've had contact with him enough to know he just really doesn't give a care as to what happens to anyone on property, all it is to him is a paycheck. He at least does his job, but he's a jerk. How do I know this' Because everyone here at isola bella (tenants) TALK. A LOT. That's the only thing isola bella cannot do. Is silence the people here. (unless Melissa evicts them, which I wouldn't be surprised if she did) Ok now to Zach. I'm not sure about this man, i've heard a lot of bad stuff about him, I just haven't personally met this guy. I've seen him around, but the things i've head are racist. Another black couple who was trying to get in here, he made a statement about their income (which was more than I make by far) and he went on about telling him, "no way dude, whatever...." making statements to these potential tenants because they were black, and he was being a big stereotype. That did not settle well with any of us. So zach, sorry man, I had to vouch for them. Next on the list would be Rick. he is the Grounds man. He picks up dog poop for a living, so I know his job isn't the funnest in the world, but you made your bed rick. Lay in it. Rick has proven himself to all of isola bella as nothing but white trash. He is constantly complaining about Melissa about how evil she is, and how he hates working with all these black people, and more white trash remarks...Anyhow the whole complex knows rick smokes pot on a constant basis, and is drunk all the time. you want to know the scariest thing' MELISSA KNOWS ABOUT IT. I cannot say if this is true or not, but Rick supposedly has warrants out for his arrest, and Melissa knows about that too. Melissa keeps him because he works for cheap, and he gets the job done. Picking up poop' Picking up trash' I thought anyone could do that. He has had several drunken outbursts in the complex. Some of which I've seen when taking my nightly stroll. He is disgusting. Kudos Melissa. You know how to hire em! Ok so now we move onto Security. Everyone that has worked for security I do not have a complaint for them. All of them are upstanding men, that protect Isola Bella at all costs. Good work fellas. Maintenence this is for you. I have not had many encounters with you, (only little things) but make sure you quit half-assing peoples apartments. Lots of complaints about that. Just a fair sentence for you. I know Melissa only pays you so much, and I think you would do better jobs if she would open up isola's pocketbook a little more for you, but please. For the sake of the people here. Do your jobs right. Overall here is isola bella in a nutshell. This place won rennovation of the year award. All they did for this place was slap a coat of paint on it, threw down some plastic wood floors (which are HORRIBLE) and called it "rennovated" The only place this rennovation is good at is in extended stay. Where you will not go if you are a tenant here. On your tour they will show you around the prettiest spots of isola. Places where you will not live. So don't hold your breath. Also, when you are shown an apartment, that will NOT be your apartment. They will not show you YOUR actual apartment. You will see it the day you move into it, and not a day sooner. So make sure you are ready to defy whatever may come with your apartment. (Roaches, bad electrical outlets, missing appliances, half put up crown molding, fixtures missing, broken appliances, bowed flooring, flooding issues, fire hazards....etc..) This place really has potential. Only if it were ran right. It's sad if you think about it. They draw you in here...making it seem like this place is your dream home. That you will live in peace and harmony. But I'm telling you now. It's nothing but a lie. The whole time i've lived here, my friends, neighbors, and complete strangers that I walk by everyday, talk to, or just hear them....that's all they talk about here. Is this place. So my apologies that you have to endure it here. I'm pretty sure once this review has been posted and one of the Isola Bella staff members has seen this, they are going to be on the hunt. To see who would say these things. They CANNOT have this stuff going on their name! So I know as they read this, they are gathering their torches and pitchforks and eviction notices....and they will be ready. The sad thing is, all of this that I have stated on this review is nothing but the truth. I'm telling you now though, they will try and cast a shadow over your eyes. Be prepared. Welcome to Isola HELLA I rented from spring '08 through summer 11. ...
