Horrible place to live. Smells like dog piss dog poop stains on the floor. Dog poop by your car. Its just everywhere. This place just sucks. No one fixes anything. Bad wiring bad construction of the loft. Everything looks like it was Jerry rigged. DONT MOVE IN HERE if you hate noise cause the walls are paper thin and if you live downstairs you can hear a pen drop on the floor. Its just wood on top of wood thats it. So be prepared to hear everything your neighbor is doing. And watch out if you hate the smell of smoke dont move in here. My neighbor smokes weed and I can smell it 24-7. This place is run down and stinks like shit and piss. I rented from winter '09 through spring 11. ...

On all advertising for Liss Property Group, the ads state all NEW appliances, kitchens, bathrooms, new wall to wall carpet, air conditioners in each room, microwaves, etc. I was so excited about the thought of renting an apartment that has "NEW" everything. All Websites that they advertise on - including their own - states the above amenities. When you get to the Leasing Office to view an apartment, you find out that the advertisements are FALSE and misleading. Kitchens and Bathrooms ARE NOT new, some apartments have newer apartments, others don't, in a 2 bedroom apartment, I was told the company would only provide one air conditioner - so if I wanted A/C in the bedrooms, I would have to purchase and install the A/C's on my own time and expense - unbelieveable. The NEW microwaves they advertise - I was instructed by the woman in the office, that the new policy is NO microwaves in the kitchen anymore. Why are companies like this allowed to FALSELY advertise amenities in an apartment, entice you to come and check out the apartment, and then try to "act like a car salesman," and persuade you that you really don't need those items? What can be done to make this company comply with advertisely ACCURATELY AND CORRECTLY exactly what they are offering to unsuspected and believing consumers? A hidden fee that is not explained up front for a PA rental license fee is charged at the time of leasing signinng for $50.00? What is that all about; I have rented several apartments, and never had to pay a RENTAL license fee - isn't that something the Property Management is responsible for? Another thing this company does is during the LEASE signing, you have to sign that if you do not renew your lease in one year, they will KEEP 1/2 of your security deposit. How can they do this???? And when you find out all of these HIDDEN fees (that clearly should have been conveyed prior to the rental application was completed), you have a moving truck with all of your furniture ready to be moved to your NEW home!!! Isn't there some kind of law to STOP this?????? ...

when i was moving in, i was dealing with the first of 5 property managers during my 1 year occupancy. This landlord tried to steal $800 from me by hiding my receipt. Although the regional manager was aware that he had been stealing money from residents as well as the company, i had to come up with my receipt. Luckily i did not misplace it. During my stay i had one small gathering of about 8 people. the next day i got a phone call by the 2nd property manager "screaming" at me about how this is not tolerated. however, almost every weekend there was a party with dj's, bands, ect. Every resident has to pay a $25 monthly parking fee. You are told that you are paying for a 24 hour security guard to be on the premises. There are no security guards and someone else is almost always parked in your personal parking spot that you pay for. Now remember i mentioned how i was almost robbed on my way in by the landlord? Well they rob you on your way out as well. This is a Lease that you must read every fine print before you sign. Do not go by their explanation of each page. They are making me pay $640 for them to repaint for "THEIR" next tenant even though i never touched their walls. I only lived there for 1 year!. I left that apartment clean from top to bottom. Not to mention it was filth when i moved in. I have never dealt with anything like this. Liss Property Group are Thieves!!!!! Liss property group own keystone lofts as well as many other properties. Watch your back I rented from winter '08 through winter '08. ...
