This place is horrible, I haven't experienced any mice, but there are some snakes in here and I taking about the snakes in the maintenance department who stole my Ipad. As far as the maintenence work, it's very unprofessional. Most of the concierge are nice and two people in the management office are nice as well. Not a kid friendly apartment, they built a dog park and not a playground. It's very old looking inside, they need to replace the carpets and wall paper in the hallways. This is nothing but an over-priced project high-rise. They tell you your utility bill will be about $100-$150/month, lies lies lies! I pay about $400.00-$500.00/month for utilities on top of the $1700.00 in rent we pay. I am paying to get out of my lease, packing my belongings and getting out quick, fast and in a hurry! I am a single mom with a daughter at Arcadia. I was on a strict budget and eneded up paying over 1500 amonth with electric bill. Rodents everywhere water pressure terrible the worst experience of my life. NEVER MOVE THERE I was misled and lied to about the cost of utilities 80 to 150 is a far cry from 300 and up in MARCH I kept the heat off and froze to try to save money but Im told by the office its goes according to the size WELL WHAT ABOUT THE USAGE and the MICE forget it. I have not seen any of the things the last person speaks about other than the garage flooding with water when it rains so I decided to give up my space. I am a student at arcadia so the location is perfect for me. But our apartment has not been updated since the 1970's (when built), has lead paint, Formica counters (covered in stains from prior tenant), the carpet is only padded in a 6x6 square in the middle of the living room, the carpet also is not edged properly and falls up to an inch short from meeting the walls in some places, and the sinks and tub do not properly drain. Maintenance is a joke and so is the security. All you have to do is drive through the back entrance/ nod at the front guard then tell the doorman you forgot your fob and you are in. Also my niegor was recently chased down a hall by a strange man and got no help from the building management, she has since moved. She found that thievery is common in the apartments and the cops make regular visits to sort out shenanigans. We on the other hand were given her door jammer and now triple lock and jam our door at night to keep thieves out. We will only be living at this establishment for as long as necessary while we look into a newer, properly priced, and safer place to live. I loved my apartment until I saw a rodent run across my floor. I'm extremely disgusted. I pay $1300 a month for a 1 bedroom, and the front office has been not too helpful in my situation. They came in and sealed the pipes (which they failed to do when I initially moved in). I still see rodent droppings. If it helps, I live in building 2, and was told by some maintenance staff that the building has a rodent problem. They spray apartments EVERY Tuesday and Thursday (but don't define it as a problem) Also don't be fooled by the font gate. The back gate is not secure. There is NO security at the back gate. It's open and anyone can drive in. I've also had other maintenance issues. The Towers at Wyncote (also known as The Trilogy) is a living veneer. We love this place! Everything is right here. My husband and I enjoy having dinner at Primo Bacio its right down stairs. The staff here is really helpful and nice. We have never had a problem with maintenance, they fix any problem we have had right away. Management is very helpful also. We enjoy going to the salon to get our hair done without having to leave the building. Tbhey have movie night in the theater every Tuesday and Friday night. The only issue we have had is that there are some old people here that are a little grumpy, always whinning and griping! Anyway, we just smile at them and tell them to have a nice day. We do not have any plans to ever move from here until we buy our first house. Great place to live! We highly recommend living here and have told alot of our friends who have rented an apartment here. The maintenance department here is the ABSOLUTE worst. They do not address any of your concerns. If you make a complaint they usually don't even come out to check it out. After numerous complaints they finally come out and say they have to send someone else out to look at it. It took a whole month for them to fix my shower. The tiles were literally falling off the walls and there was mold growing in the sheetrock. Now they have to reglaze the tub because it got messed up from falling tiles. I can not take a shower in my place for two days and they said that I have to go to the athletic club to shower. The problem is my wife lweaves for work at 7:30 am and the club doesn't open until 7:00 if it opens on time. And it isn't even located in my building. Avoid this place at all costs.
