********************* WARNING EXTREMELY GHETTO NEIGHBORHOOD ************************* I am a current resident of Walton Reserve. Just like you I was attracted by the nice clean community with all the perks, childcare, food co-op, parties. Man this place is filled with disrespectful, loud, unruly, extremely ghetto people.For it to be so well cared for you wouldn't expect the it to be so hood. At first it was just the kids. From sun up...even before the sun comes up kids are out. They have thrown food at people's doors. Cursing, fighting(ALL THE TIME), and everything else. People walking around in pajamas and hair nets(all the time). It looks like a group home for parent-less children over here. Teenagers from across the street and down the street walk over here to just hang out. I have complained and written letters and call the police and everything. Nothing has changed for the better...and don't walk in the grass b/c nobody picks up their dogs sh*t. Management will listen and show concern, but will do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ABOUT IT! Now they will send out letters, over and over again telling about the rules. But they rarely enforce any of what they say. Cars are being broken into, all kinds of curse words written on the property. They will only show a potential resident the property when the kids are in school. Wonder why? If they did...you would run away! Often the children pull the fire alarms, it has happened three times since I have lived here. The alarm goes off in the entire building, everyone has to get up and come outside until the fire dept comes. Which they take their sweet time because they know it's a false alarm. Residents have old furniture and clothes hanging on the patio. The walls are paper thin, I can hear the person in the apartment next to me sneeze. I'm sure they can hear me if I cough. Now there are some good along with all the ugly. If project style living is cool for you Walton Reserve would be a great home. Maybe 95% of the neighborhood is section 8...and it shows! The decent people don't let their kids come outside because of the hooligans roaming around. The senior side even has it's own list of complaints. My advice is to KEEP LOOKING....DON'T MOVE IN...YOU WILL BE COUNTING DOWN TO THE END OF YOUR LEASE!! I rented from summer 10 through summer 11. ...
