Each unit is individually owned, so I can only talk for one of the units. Most of them are married housing, but some are single girls (I lived there as a single girl). It's pretty far from campus. The ward boundaries are super spread out. There's a guy's complex across the street, and a few houses, and then the other main girl's complex a few blocks away. There are a lot fewer undergrad students in the ward -- some grad students and a lot of graduated people. When I was there the other girl complex (a pretty high-end complex) was pretty clique-y, and the ward in general wasn't very social at all. I threw monthly parties and invited the whole ward, and usually I had maybe 10 people show up-which would be unheard of in the bigger complexes closer to campus. I've heard there's a super high turnover rate between years, though, so it might get better. The apartments themselves are great, though. They're actually really, really big, especially since there are only three girls max together (one shared room and one private room). Most of the units have big sliding glass windows and a balcony (mine was one of the two units that didn't), which were really nice, especially when it was warm outside. And having a washer and drier in your apartment is AWESOME! Also, I rented Fall '12 - Spring '13. I rented from fall 10 through spring 11. ...
