First let me say I do not nor have I ever lived in these apartments. I’ve only visited. In the last few months they’ve hired new security guards, North Star security. I was at the apartment pool on July 4th where one security guard, C. Smith, was being very aggressive with people all day. As someone who works in legal I’m all for keeping people safe. What I’m not for is people abusing their power. While standing on the top level of the parking garage next to our car watching fireworks security came and told us we couldn’t be there after 10p. I tried asking questions about the rule and C. Smith got angry and started yelling. I asked for his work credentials and he refused to give them to me. At this point my boyfriend comes to tell me to just leave and C. Smith tasers him. We’ve done nothing wrong so we’re allowed to leave. Then North Star Security lies and says we attacked them and the complex issues is us a $100 fee. Not once did the apartment complex reach out to verify what happened. I would not suggest living here. The property management doesn’t care about its tenets or visitors best interest. ...
