This place looks nicer than it really is. The only advantage I had was moving into it new. Shortly thereafter the cheap quality of the carpet, paint, appliances, cabinets, etc. began to show.
The grounds are constantly littered with beer cans and
trash. The pool frequently has broken glass around the pool deck because the no glass at the pool rule is not enforced (i believe this may be state law but i could be wrong). The pool also has loud music that plays throughout the night even when the pool is "closed" or no one is at the pool. The music is an XM station that plays about 10-15 songs continously. I can hear the music all day and night with my doors and windows shut.
You've always heard about apartments with walls that are "paper thin." These really are paper thin. To give you an idea, when my neighbors walk around upstairs, I frequently think someone is knocking on my front door.
The people who work in the office have always been courteous, but they've screwed up some stuff with my rent, and were not pleasant about fixing it. They also enter your apartment on probably a weekly basis. I know because I was getting into the shower when they conveniently opened my locked door and came in. The lease provides them with the right to enter your residence, but entering an unreasonable number of times is a violation of your reasonable expectation to privacy (you could probably take them to court over this).
The bottom line is if you want to live in party central, live here. Otherwise move to LL Sams or The Place since they are similarly priced and nicer overall.
I rented from fall '06 through fall '07.
