Cornerstone is well known for its serious staffing issues and apathetic workers. Long periods of time go by where there is no 'official' manager and it is managed from afar. Managers seem to last well under a year, and for good reasons. The parent company, ComCapp, is a money-grubbing parent who is out of touch with its residents. The swimming pool is one step above a public health hazard. There are more parking permits issued than actual spaces as well. Maintenance requests are taken care of in a slow fashion, but when lease renewal time comes the staff becomes your 'best friend.' See: BB holes in the side of our building which have been there 3 YEARS. The accounting practices should not be trusted whatsoever. We keep a written log of all interactions with office staff, as well as frequently request copies of our ledger. Nearly every single month there is an extraneous fee or some bogus charge which they claim is 'automatic'. 'The system' should not take the place of basic accounting competency. In this complex, it clearly does. This complex is an embarrassment for its investors. I would not be proud to have this place attached to my reputation. The only bright side is the location and it is relatively quiet and crime-free. I don't think that is due to the great operation of the property, but more of a byproduct of several extraneous factors. I rented from fall 10 through spring 11. ...
