The apartments were in decent shape. I have to give the Management (one guy who is also your repair guy, if he does any repairs) props for taking attention to things. With that being said the manager keeps tabs on everything you do and with who you do it on the premises. I would get questioned on my activities, and friends on a regular basis. The price is decent, if you like cleaning your moldy bathroom every few days with bleach. You have no central air so I hope you like window units. I hope you don't mind non existent repairs too. I did everything, he even broke one of my windows with a rock while trimming the yard and didn't fix it until I left (I had a broken window for 2 years). The location is great, right across from campus with easy shuttle access (shuttle passes every 20 minutes). The Social life is pretty mature, there's a few neighbors that get together for a bbq every once in a while. But the apartments never do anything socially. The landlord, probably the worst aspect of this place. Every tennant I knew had a problem with this guy, he was pushy, overbearing and acted more like a little old lady keeping tabs on us. He even started putting up cameras in other peoples apartments to keep tabs on other buildings. In the end, I left not for any other reason other than the manager. The parking is substandard, you get one spot, two visitiors for the entire complex. If you cant get those you get to park and dark street and hope no one hits/breaks into your car, good luck with that one. Also, be ready for your rent to go up. For the two years I stayed there I was promised only small increases in rent. It ended up going 60 dollars in one year alone. Good luck. Because if you want to move here, your gonna need it. I rented from fall '06 through summer '08. ...
