I have enjoyed the apartment thus far. It was a little shaky in getting some things fixed when we first moved in, but the staff had helped us getting things in their place. The neighbors have been very friendly and helpful as well.

I lived at the Haven for three years. I had a very positive experience and had nothing but great things to say... until the end.  During my time, the complex was well maintained and I never had issues with noisy neighbors. To put things in perspective, I paid over $30,000 to Flournoy properties during my time.  My outrage came only at the end of my 3 year relationship. I gave my 60 day notice and let the complex know I would be happy to vacate early should they have an opportunity to rent the unit before my lease was up.  In good faith, I turned my keys over to the complex a week early. The agent was too busy to walk that day so I asked them to call me to schedule. No one called and in the meantime I stopped back twice and called three times all with promises someone would call back. No one ever got in touch with me but I wasn't too worried because I felt as though I had a good relationship with the complex. Imagine my shock when I opened a bill for $196.55 in cleaning charges and a threat to pay in 15 days or I would be sent to collections!!  Three years, $30,000 and not so much as a phone call. I am a corporate executive that paid someone to clean my apartment once a week for 3 years!  To be honest, I expected to get most of my deposit back. When I called to question, they asked me to come look at pictures. I paniced that my movers had damaged a wall or something. I patiently watched as the agent went thru 50 close up pictures of baseboard corners, the tops of ceiling fan blades, top shelves of cabinets, and my favorite... a hair in the sink! I was shocked when the agent looked me square in the face and said "I didn't charge you for half of the things I should had." The agent said he would normally charge $441 in cleaning charges but appreciated my long term patronage! I was outraged at $196 and cannot imagine if I had gotten a $441 bill! My cautionary advice is if you plan to rent be ready to pay heavy fees at the end! The Haven apparently has a zero tolerance for dust or hair, let alone normal wear and tear.  In the end, you are just a signed contract. Keep in mind I am a single girl who had a weekly housekeeper. If you have a family with children or are young and plan to have friends over there could be huge charges at the end! My final word, I wouldn't rent again!  ** Before posting this review, I spoke with the leasing agent in person and  later complex manager on the phone in depth about my frustration in the end to our relationship but we were unable to come to terms of agreement. I did tell the complex manager I would be sharing my experience with others.** ...
