Decent, old apartments.Lived there two years and moved out in May 2008. New management is the worst, very rude. Would not recommend Plantation Oaks to anyone because of terrible management. We couldn't get maintenance done and security is non-existent. I rented from summer '06 through spring '07. ...

We just moved out in July and we lived there 2 years and have always regretted it. Their water pipes are always broken, sometimes with advance notice but a lot of times not. Their managers are so rude (only one nice girl who works there right now) always and I even came to a point that I was scared to call or walk-in for getting packages, requesting service, asking questions things like that because they are so rude! I was being robbed one night last year after getting my mails and walked by their tennis court in that little walk-way. All the lights were off for a long time in that area (tennis/volleyball courts and the building lights on the side) and I told them what happened and asked that they should keep the lights on bright in that area. I waited for 2 months to see that happened and for the rest of the time living there those lights were still on and off at times. The shower and the big closets were the only nice things there. Now that they finally fixed all the holes in the parking lots that we had to lived with for 2 years. And I noticed they have just started to spend a lot of money on furnishing their computer room, and work out room and they are making them looking nice to attract new customers, I guess we were just out of luck while we lived there. Bugs were a problem too and we ended up buying stuff to spray the apartment ourselves. Appliances were old (stove, oven, dishwasher). It is though, a quiet neighborhood, except the area by the mall when carnival is up around the corner 2/3 times a year. This list is getting long so I will stop, but I hope it helps you to decide if you should live there or not. I rented from summer '05 through spring '07. ...
