Do your homework! All negative reviews are true. It is a large & older property (22) that has not been properly Maintenaced or updated for a decade . It is a nice area of The Colony, but it’s not worth the money & aggravation. Make sure to tour the unit, if you have time, be meticulous in checking everything & be prepared for move-in hassles that take months to remedy & that’s if you care to follow up many times. Maintenace Work orders can be closed without remedy, be prepared to wait months for any request. recently the property has attempted to bring it up to par with the luxury rates. A very high turnover due to 20-40% rate hikes & many long term residents (5-10 years or more). So, more unit updates but beware bc everything is cheaply done & all corners cut. You will have no recourse bc all property managers are rude & unprofessional. Mgmt does not care, no accountability & do not have the capacity to do what it takes. Therefore, none of the staff cares except collecting a paycheck & doing or not doing what their manager expects. There is no easy way to communicate with anyone on property. It’s all electronic & there’s no return phone calls. There’s never communication or follow-up from management. Do not believe any positive reviews until you verify yourself.
