It was a great experience. Awesome neighbors/community. The apartments are old and a bit run down, but was for a great price. I really enjoyed living there. I would have lived there longer, but got married.

Parking and internet struggle. Management, clean checks, location, and rent price are great. I rented from fall 2016 through winter 2017.

I had so many problems with this apartment complex. When I first moved in, the people before hadn't moved out all of their stuff. The apartment was a mess! It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. We had multiple things break: our dishwasher, our faucet, and our fridge. The price for spring and summer isn't bad and the location is great, but be warned that these apartments are pretty ghetto and parking is terrible. Kudos to the managers though! They are fantastic people and they do a great job of solving problems quickly and keeping tenants informed. I rented from spring 2016 through spring 2016. ...

Rented Fall 2013-Winter 2015. The apartments are good for the price and super close to campus. The ward is really nice and social, and the people are really down to Earth and cool. The ward is almost all undergrads, mostly sophomores and juniors. The landlady Katie is nice enough, but not the brightest. Make sure you check her math when you're signing! Parking is a nightmare, but it is most places South of campus. ...

Price and location are great. When signing up, try to get the new apartments as they remodel 3 apartments each year with new everything. Parking is limited. There are two wards in the building, both are good. Social life is good in both wards. New internet, ethernet and wireless in the building and the speed is very fast. Laundry is the cheapest in the neighborhood. A good place to live if you are on a budget. I rented from fall 10 through winter 11. ...

Belmont is ghetto, but other than that there is not a lot to complain about. It's dirty and cramped, but the ward is great, the price is cheap and the location rocks. Fall-Winter 2012

There are only 3 guy apartments in the complex and I lived in the bottom apartment the first year and the top floor the second year. I didn't stay there in the summer. The apartments were decent for a college apartment. The appliances worked just well enough to use them and the furniture was mediocre. The bedrooms felt cramped, especially with 2 desks in each room. It wasn't uncommon to have the hot water run out in the winter when showering. The parking lot was a joke. Not only was it hard to fit your car into some spots, it was near impossible to find a spot unless you came as someone was leaving. Be prepared to parallel park you car away from the complex. And in the winter the parking lot never thawed out. That, however, is thanks to the fact that the owner uses hot water (because it's cheaper than salt) to melt the ice in his spot. The management was alright. It's a couple that lives on site, so it changes every so often. They keep the oddest hours so they are hard to reach. The owner is an arrogant idiot. He likes to talk, so if you see him, avoid him because he'll talk to you for hours on end. Also, his stories are unbelievable for the most part. You can find him around fairly often. If you need a serious problem that hasn't been fixed, go through your parents (specifically your mom) because he sees himself as your "next parent" and will listen to them before he listens to you. The biggest problem is the wireless internet tends to be slow and go out of commission for long periods of time. The owner doesn't allow it, but I would suggest keeping a wireless router to plug into your own ethernet connection and hiding it when he comes by. Other than that, you will have to go to campus to get internet when it's down. And be ware when it's time for "outsiders" to sign contracts. It is loud all night long. Maintenance problems were usually taken care of promptly. Cleaning checks are easy to pass, but always make sure that someone is there to walk behind the inspector. If not you will fail and will have to pay a $5 recheck fee. The price is good because it's a flat rate. My 250 covered everything from rent to utilities and internet. The rent has gone up since I left, though. Dryers are 50 cents and only a couple of them work well enough to dry your clothes. The ward was friendly. All the girls live in the apartment complex but the majority of the guys live in Continental apartments just down the street. I rented from fall '08 through winter 10. ...

Good location. Can make it up to the Brimhall or JSB in five minutes if you hurry. Ceiling leaks in places. Wall board is coming off in different apartments. No keys, but door codes like a padlock. Six to an apartment with two bathrooms. Sometimes there is mold in between the tile and the wall. Often there will be problems such as corroded fixtures in the bathrooms and leaks on the top floor when it rains. Parking is horrible. Coin laundry is decent. Dryers often don't work and people who don't live in the complex are sometimes there doing their laundry. Managers are great. The owner doesn't seem to invest in the place much. I rented from fall '08 through winter '09. ...
