They are just now renovating the apartments, new tiling, carpets, and beds. However these apartments are UNLIVABLE if you are a college student. They claim they offer high speed internet. The FCC says high speed internet is 25 megabits per second download. In these apartments I can get about 0.73 megabits per second. This is about 3% of what is required for high speed internet. This isn't fast enough to stream Netflix, in any definition. Now imagine that speed split between roommates. If you want to travel to campus whenever you need to check your email, or if you have the ability to use your cell phone as a hotspot whenever you want to look at facebook, then this could be the place for you. I rented from winter 2015 through summer 2016. ...

I live at Heritage Court in Provo and am about to move out of state. We've been here almost two years. I live in one of the cheaper units so my biggest complaint is that there is no dishwasher (but that was my own choice so that our rent would be less expensive). The AC isn't the greatest and the shower is bi-polar in the worst of ways - you finally get it to the perfect temperature and then it immediately scalds or freezes you out. However, rent is cheap. For the cost, I'd say it's worth it. Yes, it's a pretty dingy little place, but it's fine for a newlywed couple. Maintenance is pretty quick from my experience too. The problem that has made me want to even write a review is the management - Continental Properties. My rating would be much higher if I didn't have to deal with them. I've been in contact with Jodi for months trying to get her to send me a copy of my account, even a simple screenshot, so I could compare it to my own records before we move away. I asked Debra to help with this a few weeks ago and now they are both simply ignoring my calls and messages. I wasn't very worried about my account before this, but the whole situation makes me concerned about their bookkeeping. If there wasn't anything shady going on, I feel like I would have a copy by this point. Other than that, I'd honestly recommend this place if you want to save money and don't mind getting what you pay for. I rented from fall 2014 through summer 2016. ...

DO NOT RENT from these apartments, or anything owned by Continental properties. It is by far the worst and most frustrating company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. They are extremely unorganized, they scam you out of every penny possible through ridiculous fees, they ignore maintenance requests, they never answer the phone, and the apartments are in terrible shape. I rented from summer 2014 through spring 2016. ...

I have absolutely loved renting from Continental Properties! After looking all over for a reasonably priced place, close to BYU campus, with the features I needed, I was relieved to find Continental Properties. They really worked with me to find the right place, at the right price. When I moved in, they made sure the apartment was cleaned to my satisfaction, and promptly cleaned anything that was not. Later, I was thrilled when they let me pick colors and paint the apartment! Management cares about its tenants and wants everyone to have a good experience. If you have concerns they are happy to help you. They are also fair and honest in their dealings with tenants. During my time here, I have put in several maintenance requests that have been handled in a timely fashion by a friendly maintenance employee. One night, he even drove to my house late at night to fix a broken lock and let me into my house. Continental Properties has many housing options of varying prices and amenities for both married and single students in many locations. If you are looking, I would definitely recommend it. ...

Do not live here. I HIGHLY recommend living anywhere else, solely because of the management. I have lived in many apartments in Provo (Riviera, Heritage Halls Glenwood, Park Plaza, Chatham Towne, Parkside condos, Stonecrest) and this one is by far the worst. My wife and I lived here for the summer of 2013 because they open it up for married couples and it is cheaper rent. The parking is terrible. Management is extremely difficult to get a hold and they do not try to work with you. They left a residue of cleaning chemicals in the oven without giving us any warning. We discovered it only after attempting to cook a meal. The food was ruined and we had to leave the oven on during a hot summer evening to burn out the chemicals. They came in for carpet cleaning, requiring us to move our belongings only 2 weeks after we moved into the apartment, with only one day’s notice via a note on the door. They left stains and pools of water on the bathroom and kitchen floors after carpet cleaning. We were going to move into another one of their apartments for the Fall semester and signed a contract for it. The landlord, Debra, was so difficult and confusing while trying to sell our summer contract that we decided to move out completely. She tried to charge us double rent as well as a sell-of-contract fee despite the fact that we did all of the work that she was supposed to do in order to sell our contract. It took a month and a half of us prodding them to finally get our security deposit back. Overall they are incredibly disorganized, and I would highly suggest to anyone looking at anything under the management of Apartments By the Y to look elsewhere. ...

Landlord messed up my roommate's and my deposit refund saying he owed about $10 and I owed about $150 (she charged me for two months I didn't live there among other mistakes). I've been trying to get her to get me the right amount back and she's slow to respond. I should be getting around $215 back so maybe that's why it's taking so long. I moved out 5 months ago and still trying to get my money back. VERY disorganized!!! I rented from spring 11 through spring 11. ...

Great location and price, but it is an older complex. The parking situation is not very good, I usually had to park on the street. The ward is with Belmont just north of us and has been excellent.

I agree the biggest problem is parking, you have to back out of the entire lot, there just isn't room to turn around. And there isn't enough parking anyway. Honestly though for 200 bucks a month its a pretty good deal I rented from fall '07 through fall '07. ...

Parking sucks. Hard to get in/out, and not enough spaces. plus half of the tenants suck at driving so you'll get scratches all over your car. management won't do anything until you get byu on their case. I rented from spring '06 through winter '07.
