Crestwood Management is dishonest and has no integrity whatsoever. Do not live here. Out of my $225 deposit they only gave me $125 back saying they were charging for carpet cleaning which wasn't even in the contract. They also told me that I "would receive my full $225 back" in person and then sent the check for $100 less a month and a half after I moved out. The site makes them look nice. The model may even look nice. But seriously, if you want a decent place to live don't live here. Save your money and run. Management of Crestwood has zero honesty and I would personally suggest living on the street as a better alternative than Cresthood. They will change your contract and charge you different fees for utilities as well. $200 for a small apartment per month? Ridiculous. Dishonest. No wonder their contract isn't uploaded on here. It's because it is constantly changing! This place blows. I rented from fall 10 through fall 11. ...

MANAGEMENT SUCKS!!!! They give you the packet for cleaning checks the day before and LIE ABOUT EVERYTHING!!! They are after your wallets 100% of the time. They changed to flat rate utilities which amounts to $200 a month for all four people. Never have I ever seen or heard of utilities that high! My brother has a condo about double the size and his monthly utility bill for everything is $38. The management is never understanding and any complaints will fall on deaf ears. They want your money and they know they can do whatever they want to you since they know you're locked into that contract. This is the fourth apartment I've lived at in Provo and it is BY FAR THE WORST of them all! DO NOT LIVE HERE!!! The management is so crooked and so sketchy. If you value your hard earned cash as a student do yourself a huge favor and live anywhere else but here. This place SUCKS!!! The nice pool doesn't make up for the HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT! Living here was ok. They management is pretty awful except for one guy. They are all pretty stupid. A few too many tool bags to be honest. There's one guy that lives here that curses out all the girls when they wont date him and management wont do anything bout it. He also likes to sit on other peoples bullet bikes like a tool with his shirt off. its super gross. The repair guy is slow to fix things and the poolside furniture is super cheap and breaks way to fast. The so called RA's are a bunch of idiots that all they do is have their gross friends over and let their kids trash the pool area. They refuse to the do the job they get paid to do. I've had to call the cops to kick people out of the pool at 3 am and the RA did nothing. His bedroom is right next to the pool!! how could you not hear it??!!!! The gym is a joke. Its enclosed and so it REEKS of sweat whenever someone works out. The outdoor lighting sucks cause its so not safe and on 1850 n the same black guy gets arrested every week so there's always a show. Parking is ok sometimes. theres lots of it you just might have to park far sometimes. crestwood does have the largest private bedrooms i've ever seen unless you live in the condos and then they're a lot smaller. the gold apts are pretty good the biggest problem is they keep upping the price for the washer and dryers. its 1.50 each load for washer and 1.25 each load for dryer and half of the dryers dont work right so your clothes never get dry. Management is HORRIBLE. They will nickle and dime you for every extra penny you have. So many hidden fees added each time rent is due. Without anyone's approval they charged a flat fee of $50 for utilities in the summer!!! No way utilities for a tiny four bedroom apartment is $200...when we called in acting like a prospective tenant they lied and said that utilities average about $80 per person in the summer. $320 for utilities for one apartment in the summer? Not true. All the money goes for the boob jobs and botox of the manager in the office. Don't live here if you value your life and your money. Don't live here if you want a decent apartment or friends. Hot tub is closed three out of every four weeks because management wants to punish the one person who put a rock in the tub. I lived in the condos, they are way overpriced. While everything looks nice it's cheap quality. When I moved in there had not been a cleaning check for the girl that moved out and it was disgusting, I had to clean everything. I always dreaded dealing with the girls who work in the office. Your monthly payments are always way more than what they lead you to believe. Because the rent does not go down in the spring or summer they are almost impossible to sell. Just don't live here. I lived out of state while searching for housing for school. Online the apartments looked great and I was excited to move in. I arrived and though the outside looked nice, I was sorely disappointed when I stepped in my apartment. I discovered that my apartment was not one that had been recently remodeled but I paid the same as the ones that had been remodeled. The apartment had been empty before my three other roommates and I moved in, yet it was a disaster, it had never been cleaned though they charge everyone for a cleaning fee. The rooms were very big but all the furnishings and appliances in the apartment were quite old. The ward I was in was pretty antisocial, as well as the neighbors around me despite many attempts to invite people over or get to know others. The parking was ample and the clubhouse was state of the art. The management, however, was a nightmare. They fined myself and my roommates constantly then wouldn't explain what the fines were for. In the end they refused to refund my deposit because my roommate moved all her belongings into the front room before they could do a final clean check though we repeatedly discussed the issue with them. I really loved living there! The apartment was really nice and I liked the managment a lot. There is PLENTY of parking and I liked having the year round hot tub. I rented from winter '08 through winter 10.

It's a fair price for what you get if you sign a year-long contract. Parking is never an issue. Be careful about who you are moving in with though. When I first moved in, there was a dude who never paid rent, never signed his lease, he was using heroine excessively and we eventually found out he was stealing our checks and forging them. Despite the bedroom locks, he broke into our rooms.Even after management found marijuana they kind of sat on their hands.They said they would evict him but nothing ever happened. Even when we told management he stole from us they said they couldn't do anything for 2 days. Nothing would have happened if we didn't file a report with the police. I was excited to move here. It looked great online. But when I arrived I found that I was assigned to an apartment that had not been renovated yet I still paid the same amount as the ones that had been renovated. The management was uncooperative and charged extra fees each month that they refused to explain. I found it to cost too much for being so far from BYU and what I was getting. It was hard to feel apart of the ward upon moving in and never really felt fully welcomed. Crestwood i would say is a very relaxed social area. not crazy kids who are out for fun till all hours making noise... the managment was nice and even took the time to recognize my face and name when i came in. there are disorganizations though, renovations that are not evident in all apartments its sort of a russian roulette. you either wind up with a nicer looking carpet, or that cheap green stuff you find around old las vegas hotels. it was nice, but not my favorite I rented from fall '07 through summer '08. ...

Crestwood is a nice place, my apartment is cute. The ward has nice people in it and a great bishop. People are friendly, but not intrusive. They'll give you space and keep to themselves unless you are friendly. It's a nice balance, you get what you want. I love the amenities in the clubhouse. It's not hard to find the gymn or pianos available. They take good care of the pool area too. The only downside is it's slightly more than other places; still, it's comparative for what you get in other locations, a little cheaper considering the location. It's also close to both UVU and BYU.
