My daughter was admitted to the hospital and my wife went to be with her. At midnight, she went to my daughter's apartment to stay overnight. She woke up the next morning to find her car had been towed. She had to call a taxi to take her to the lot and pay $100 to retrieve her car. I lived at the Enclave for a year and a half and I love the place. They're older apartments but they're a good size and two floors which is amazing. Each apt is privately owned and aspen ridge was in charge of mine, and they kind of suck - we had a faulty boiler and alarm go off in the middle of the night, but the complex itself and the people are great. The ward is so social especially in the summer when the pool is open, and loads of people in the ward pair off and get married! Part of that may have to do with the fact that the age range is generally older people. I moved in straight out of the dorms and was definitely too young for the ward, but I still managed to meet amazing people! The apts are on the expensive side but its definitely worth it, and you can always buy dirt cheap contracts off of people in the summer. I would always recommend anyone to live there! Especially if you're a senior or graduated. ...

The Enclave is a great place with many pros and cons associated with it. It is definitely very social, and being only two blocks south of campus really helps. The hot tub is nice and open year round. The pool is a fun feature during the spring/summer, but it is only open from the May long weekend, to Labor Day in September. So don't plan on using it at all during the Fall/Winter semesters. The clubhouse is a nice feature for ward activities and all. If you want to use it for your own activity you have to pay a pretty hefty fee. When it's warmer the courtyard can be the scene of many party's and little gatherings (Be careful, the married couples that live on the ground floor have called the cops a number of times on parties going on). Sleeping can be a bit hard at these times, the walls and windows are so thin you can hear everything that's being said and done outside. It sure makes door scenes pretty interesting and a little awkward. Parking is generally pretty good. Don't leave stuff in your car. There's a break-in about every 4 to 6 months I've heard. If you can't find a spot underneath, expect to either park 2-3 blocks away, or spend 45 min waiting for a spot to open up. The apartments are what you expect for student housing, cheaply made as quick as possible. You pay for gas and electricity, so the drafty windows, and thin walls make the utilities pretty expensive. There are 4 private rooms, and two bathrooms, also a laundry and dryer. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a garbage disposal. You'll need to bring your own TV, and cable/satellite is something that you'll have to set up and pay for. Finally, I've heard that about every two years they've jumped up the price. The next contracts are going at $385 Fall/Winter, and $325 Spring/Summer. This makes the Enclave one of the most expensive buildings for BYU contracted housing. With all the new places that give you more amenities for a cheaper price, I'd say look into those first. Two blocks closer to campus isn't worth the price. This applies to the 2012/2013 year. This is hands down the best place I have ever lived. It is SO social with no cliques. Everyone is friends and everyone hangs out in the courtyard in the evenings. The Enclave is the proud host of the Enclave Acoustic Night which happens every few months and has been running for a few years. Everyone I talk to absolutely loves it here. Here's the rundown: - Social Ward (meet at the Manivou Chapel. Our ward is made up of a few of the Hall's mens apts) - Friendly happy atmosphere - Pool / Hot tub (year round) - Decent parking (2 spot per apt. open red spots that are free for all) - Good price for a private room (330 - 375 depending on the apt) - Washer/Dryer in complex - Fast Internet - The only downside is the management. It is privately owned, so it really just depends on who you are renting from. - Close to campus & Provo Library - Good Neighborhood Wish I never left the Enclave and the fellow Enclavians. Lived here for 2 years (F09 through SU11). Best ward I've ever lived in!! (Seriously) It is VERY social, friendly, clique-free, and fun. Everyone is just nice and its great to be here. I rented from fall '09 through summer 11.

Enclave has the best ward ever. It's a work hard, play hard attitude and everyone's invited to everything! It's not a steal of a deal, but you get what you pay for. Best location for the best ward. Average age is about 23 for guys and 21 for girls. I rented from fall 10 through winter 11. ...

The Enclave is an amazing place to life. Sure, the courtyard isn't the nicest (although the pool and hot tub are great), but the social/community feel makes it all okay. I have lived here for two years and have loved everything about it. The ward continues to be friendly and outgoing and we meet in a chapel, which is nice. The condos are individually owned, so check it out and make sure you are moving into a nice one. Parking is tight, but works fine. I love living here. I put below that I moved out in Fall 08 because it doesn't give an option for still living here and that was the most recent time period, but I'll probably be here for a while still. Fantastic complex! All units are individually owned, and some are much nicer than others. They are spacious and the way the complex is set up makes it very social. The 2nd and 3rd floor apartments are bigger and avoid getting an inside window if you are a light sleeper, the noise echoes off the walls and you wont be able to sleep. The Enclave is an awesome ward, especially during spring and summer. I didn't have a contract there during this time period, but I lived on my friend's couch for a few weeks. Since there is a courtyard and pool/spa, there's an excellent social atmosphere. The HOA is not the best at maintaining the overall complex, but I hear they are doing some renovations in March/April 2007. Average price for most condos is $350 for a private room. Some are less expensive while others a may be a little more expensive. Parking stalls are not the best (they're a little tight), but you do have two plus about 10 free spots. Each apartment is privately owned, so quality and prices vary. Definately take a look at the apt. you're interested in before signing a contract. I rented from fall '05 through summer '06.
