Univeristy Park is a fantastic deal for the money, but comes with a big catch. The big catch is you get to deal with Jeffery the manager. He is incredibly passive aggressive in his emails and he does not handle confrontation at all. It's a great deal if
you're looking to deal with a lack of professionalism.
I rented from fall 2016 through winter 2017.

Apart from the price and location of University Park Apartments, there were just too many things wrong with that place. First, the landlady is very unprofessional and rude. She made us all move out "during finals." I had 17 credits and business school
classes, but that moving out process was a gazillion times harder that the finals that I took. Second, the place is very old and stuff keeps falling apart. Our apartment front door started scrapping off, and the management came in and spray painted it. The bunk beds (which are squeezed in a private room) make this annoying noise because they're a century old.
I just think that if anyone wants to rent this place, they must really really love living close to campus and can absolutely not afford to live anywhere else.
I rented from fall 10 through winter 11.

Watch out for that LandLord lady!!! There is only one word to describe her and we are not allowed to use that language on campus. The other lady, who is the manager, is way nice, the best lady I have worked with and she will try to work with you as
much as possible. Life here was pretty good. Cool ward, way close to campus, and something fun was always happening. If you are not sure of a place to stay, I have no complaints about this place (As far as the landlord lady goes, I only saw here once at the end of the term and that was more than enough).
I rented from winter '08 through fall '08.

The manager of the apartments is very kind and respectful. The landlord, however, is disrespectful, unprofessional, and rude. I was given no notice as to when I had to move out until the landlady, Bonnie, knocked on my door in the early morning and
told me to get all my stuff out or it would be thrown away. Just after, a young woman entered my apartment telling me to get up and get my stuff out. I was not appropriately clothed as I was still in bed, and therefore could not get up. This is a clear violation of the right to privacy as established in the contract (which requires 12 hours written notice before the landlady can enter the apartment). It is in no way consistent with the values in the BYU honor code. When I talked to the landlady about this problem, she just laughed. I only gave a rating of poor because there was no lower option.

The place is alright, smallish, but good for the price that you pay. Management is way nice, especially the manager, she's a little cutie! (you can't go there she's married :-(. You get parking if you pay for it and you are super close to campus. Our
apartment and two girls apartments make up the ward... lots of fun!
I rented from fall '07 through winter '08.

First place i lived off of the mission. Not a bad place, overall. The apartments are really small, and finding a parking space is almost impossible (even if you have a permit), but the management was pretty good, and you can't get much closer to
campus--the only thing between you and 800 north is the y-lot.
