This place is amazing, I moved here thinking that it would be an older ward. It has been amazing though, tons of younger guys and gals, and tons of fun things to do. The location is somewhat far but great for business majors as the tanner is so close, and the marriott and football stadium is so close too. The price is soo cheap too, you can't miss out I rented from spring 2015 through fall 2015. ...

These apartments are a bit older, but the management keeps everything working and repaired. The pool is really nice in the summer and the ward is amazing. Can't beat the price, either!

This place has the best ward ever! (159th ward) They are super fun, caring, and awesome people. It is a social ward with lots of activities. The age range is very wide... from 18 to 30 years old. A good amount of all ages making it sooo much fun! (There is another ward in this complex and they don't seem to do much activities wise but they are nice and a younger bunch.) The landlord is okay, I guess. I'm not much of a fan of her. super down to earth, caring, fun, and nice people! The apartments are decent. The rooms are on the small side. It is about a 15 minute walk to campus and a 1 min walk to the football stadium. I rented from fall 11 through fall 11. ...

Decent place to live. The apartments are tiny and you share rooms, but what can you expect for the price? They claim the kitchens in all the units have been recently renovated but that's not actually true--some still have the crappy old linoleum floor. Grounds are nice and fairly well kept up, it's nice having a swimming pool (although it doesn't open until about May and closes again in early September), and there's tons of parking. The proximity to the football stadium means it's a mess to get in and out on game days, and management sells spots in the parking lot, but like I said the lot is huge and I've never had trouble finding a spot. Two wards; I don't know about the other one but ours is social and friendly. It used to be full of older but this year has become much younger. Management is my biggest complaint; they're very slow at responding to maintenance problems, they sometimes don't cash your rent check for weeks, and the lady in the office has a habit of messing up paperwork in a big way--double-booking lounge reservations, losing rent checks, selling people's contracts when they didn't intend to leave. If you do move here, check with her frequently to make sure she hasn't screwed up your contract. ...

I can't thhink of a better place, as far as things that actually count. The apartments have been newly renovated, the price is competitive, the people there are gems every last one, the owner's a bit rude, but the manager is a joy, and will become like family. It is a bit far from central campus, and I HATE the way parking is on football days, but those things are a minor annoyance, heavily offset by the wonderful atmosphere. I rented from summer '05 through summer '08. ...

Reasonable place. Parking is never an issue except during home football games when management sells a portion of the parking stalls. Buildings are older but in OK shape. Repair requests are often delayed or forgotten, but the management is otherwise reasonable to work with. My biggest surprise was the average age of the two wards, which is probably near 24 at least. Many older singles still hanging on to college life, but it makes for a friendly ward and mature ward. Won't find any spoiled children here. I rented from fall '07 through winter '08. ...

Great social life. Down-to-earth people that are friendly. Tends to be an older ward with a lot of returned sister missionaries and people in graduate school. It's a 20 minute walk to campus and the apartments are small, but I would definitely recommend Alta for the people. ...

I lived in this complex for a year and loved it! Great wards and great social life! It is quite the walking distance to BYU though, so be prepared for a 20 minute walk at least. Overall, this is a great place to live! I rented from spring '06 through spring '07. ...
