I've loved living in Battery Heights. The staff is courteous, knows me by name, and handles any problems promptly and professionally. I did have a friend who said that he and his fiancee had a bug problem, but the management was in the process of evicting the tenants responsible and even paid for a moving truck to help relocate my friend to another apartment w/o bugs. They do yearly inspections for cleanliness, bugs, and mold. There is a nice outdoor pool during the summer, a small, but clean workout room and nicely maintained grounds. The top floor apartments have cathedral ceilings and there's plenty of closet space. Plus, the complex has energy saving siding and windows, so my electric bill is never more than $60 per month, including my heating and AC! Washer, dryer in unit. Plus, the complex is within walkind distance of a Walmart, grocery store (our Shoppers has a great organic and ethnic foods section, nice cheeses and produce, and my boyfriend loves the olive bar!), and several restaurants, including: Panera, Chick-Fil-A, Ruby Tuesday, and Glory Days Grill.
