PLEASE DO NOT MOVE HERE. I WARN YOU IT WILL ONE OF THE WORST DECISIONS YOU HAVE EVER MADE. EVEN THOUGH THE MANAGEMENT CHANGED OLD OR NEW ITS HORRIBLE. NO ONE CARES. THE FRONT OFFICE IS NICE AND FRIENDLY BUT CLEARLY THOSE ARE THE ONLY HAPPY PEOPLE ON THE PROPERTY. THIS IS MY REVIEW AFTER 5 MONTHS HERE. I CANNOT WAIT UNTIL MY LEASE IS UP!!! At this point I am over this whole apt and the lease. I have never experienced the things I have in this home or environment. I cry myself to sleep thinking about how much I hate my home. I could start from day one..... 1. I was under the impression my apt was renovated 2. I was told I would be paying 940$ 3. The first month I couldn't even live in my house because it was already filled with visitors. They normally resided in the kitchen. I don't mean a few roaches I mean a colony. I have never in my life lived with roaches. My mother never had them or myself. My child was literally scares to live here hell I was too. I couldn't even move in properly. This IS A SHAME. This literally gave me anxiety everyday. I had to pay someone to get rid of them. 4. I've had so many work orders I can't even count. At this point I don't care if they are fixed or not I am looking into who to report this too. My child could have suffered a head injury from slipping off of a toilet because it was glued down. *He feel off and hurt himself. *I basically got electrocuted from the socket in the kitchen because it was a short or whatever. *THIS IS NOT RIGHT FIXED OR NOT! NOT WHEN I JUST MOVED IN. I PAY FULL RENT OUT HERE!!! 5. I was without hot water for days I mean days.... unacceptable 👎👎👎 6. The dishwasher has my house smelling like the sewer. I HAVE NEVER used it. My mother always said washing them by hand was better. I have requested that they fix it permanently or remove it from the home. To have to vomit while in your kitchen is just sad!!! Water keeps building up in it. STILL TO THIS DAY I DON'T HAVE A WORKING DISHWASHER 7. My stove was recently not working almost a week but i'm still obligated to pay full rent with all these issues. 8. The property was power washed upon moving in but no real maintenance on buildings. They are horrible inside. ONLY CLEANED FOR THE MOVE IN. I CAN say for a fact I saw first hand how this property does not care about their tenants. My neighbor was evicted soon as I moved in. They moved someone in like less than 9 days it seemed like. The apt was still is a mess. My neighbor just left she couldn't take it after 2 weeks. Once she moved out they decided to clean and fix the apt. THEY ONLY WANT TENANTS, THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT US AS TENANTS. This apt has literally triggered my anxiety and depression. THE GOOD: If the apartment wasn't in such bad shape it would be so bad. I love the space its huge. I rented from fall 2017 through winter 2018. ...

When we first moved here it was nice and we loved it. Week three is when all the problems began. The property manager plays favorites. YOUR SAFETY WILL BE THREATENED IF YOU MOVE HERE!!! A man that lives above us has two pit bulls and is a drug dealer. In the pet addendum it specifically says NO PIT BULLS! On top of that the man's pit bull attacked an elderly lady and her two dogs because it was off the leash. When I reported it to the office (because I witnessed it) they said "we are taking care of it." 3 days later after the drug dealer came back from who knows where, the dog was once again OFF THE LEASH!!! He continues to let this aggressive dog run free and not pick up the poop. The office continues to breach contract on the lease by letting other people on the property get away with endangering our lives and our animals. Another thing that is noticed is; when we first moved here they were happy to fix anything that needed fixed within that day. Now (6 weeks later) they won’t do anything about the things that need to be taken care of. The washer was out for 10 days and the office said they can’t do anything about it and that I should put more money into the machine to see if that fixes the problem. Come to find out that would NEVER have fixed it. We requested an apartment that had a washer and dryer hookup in the unit and then all of a sudden they unreserved it without my permission; so now we pay every week more than we would have because they didn't do as we asked. When confronted on this issue they said "we will try and get you another one, but there aren't any available at the moment." One of our windows is a little smaller than the blinds so when I was pulling the blinds open to open the window, it SNAPPED! They said all the blinds were brand new and they were willing to charge us $10-15 to replace it, so we went out and bought the size that the office told us it would be. To our surprise (not) it was too big; we examined the broken blinds a little closer and the office had sawed down the top part that holds it in the window but not the blinds themselves. Knowing this we realized that it was their fault and they should replace it but they won’t. They say it's not their fault. We feel that because of the issues with the pit bull and because some people in the office have pit bulls and favor people that do have them, they WON’T fix it because we are the ones that bug them about safety issues. Another issue that we have found is that the walls are paper thin. The people upstairs will blare their rap music and we can hear it clearer than the tv or music we are playing in our home. We have noticed that once night falls there are groups of people in the parking lot. This occurrence in any other place would be harmless. One time when I was taking the dog out the drug dealer upstairs and his group quickly separated when I saw them. This was very suspicious. One more issue is that when our next door neighbor is going out to smoke she can't wait until she gets out the door to light her cigarette. Smoke fills the hallways and when we asked the office about it they said unless there is smoking in the halls or not disposing the butts correctly then they can't do anything. They refuse to yet again take care of or enforce their policies. There are BUG ISSUES!!! We moved here and within 3 days there was a cockroach in our home. WE HAVE NEVER HAD COCKROACHES! We sprayed every 3-4 weeks in our old place for prevention of bugs. We called the office for them to spray and they said that they weren't cockroaches but they were "water bugs" YEAH RIGHT! When I called to see if the exterminator was going to come they said he came while we were gone. I highly doubt it! So a few days later there was another "water bug" so I called again; but this time I made sure I was home. The way they spray the house is put little sprays every 3-5 feet apart on the base boards because they believe that bugs only go along the base boards. Now we have seen 4 house centipedes since the "spraying." So now we have to invest in bug spray and do it for ourselves. The centipedes are coming from the air ducts and vents. One last thing to point out is that the dumpster is always overflowing with trash. The people that live here are either TOO TRASHY or we need another dumpster for the 10 building to share instead of just one. I fear my safety every moment I live here. If you choose to live here I hope your experience will be better than ours. On an up note there is a lot of parking. 1/2 the complex has free parking and the other half has $20 reserved parking. They just started this policy recently (don't know how well it's upheld) because of "limited" parking in some areas of the complex. Thankfully our end does not have that. That is the ONLY upside of this place! I rented from winter 11 through spring 11. ...

I’ll start with the only 4 good points: The apartments are large for the price and your maintenance calls will be answered promptly if made during office hours. (After hours emergency calls will always be answered the next day with the ever useful excuse that the pager is still not working.) The grounds look nice and one member of the staff is polite (sadly I can never remember her name. Isn’t that just the way it always is?). Office Staff: The entire staff is, however, completely incompetent (even the nice one). They will condescend to you and treat you like the low-income plebian you feel like because you have to live here. The manager will never believe a word you say and will patronize you to death. Any verbal agreements you make with her or the staff will never be honored and your integrity will come into question if you try to hold them to their promises. Ironically the entire staff will volunteer and readily make such verbal agreements with you constantly, and each time you ask for it in writing will look affronted at your lack of trust. Maintenance: The maintenance crew will come into your place a few times per month with little or no warning to you, and then there’s that little matter of them having to change all of the locks this summer because their maintenance people were stealing stuff out of people’s apartments. Neighbors: You will be subjected to rude and loud neighbors. You will hear domestic disputes at any time of day or night from above/below and on either side. Your apartment will often smell like the cheap pot your neighbors are smoking. Any belongings not inside your home or car will be stolen immediately and the police presence will be a daily part of your life. This is not to say that your car’s contents will be safe – many vehicles are broken into here (someone actually stole a tire off a guy’s truck a few months ago). Your neighbors will practice their mad DJ skills all night long and all day until your light fixture is rattling with the bass vibrations. They also do this in their cars parked outside your kid’s window all night long – literally until 5 AM on weeknights sometimes. The Apartment: I say light fixture because there is only one. None of the bedrooms have any light whatsoever – if you don’t bring a lamp you’re sunk. The walls are paper thin and you will hear every word your neighbors say, every tv show they watch, when they cough, sneeze, flush the toilet, shower, gargle, bang dishes together while they're washing them, etc... The wind will blow your curtains even when your windows are shut. (Our windows stay shut because most of the mechanisms are broken and they won’t open) Your apartment will resemble the model the office shows you about as much as my Uncle Beatle resembled Princess Diana, may they both rest in peace. The shower stall in my master bedroom is straight out of a 1972 era mobile home. The Environment: Do not plan to be home during any holidays or you will be subjected to drunks lying on the ground outside your window at 3 AM howling, fighting and breaking their beer bottles in the parking lot or throwing them against the side of the building. Should they cause any damage to your patio or it’s contents the management and maintenance crew will flatly refuse to help or even come and look at said damage from their office a few doors away. Also, loud and profane lovers' quarrels and people revving their car engines like the ludicrous street racers they think they are, while blaring their music on cheap car stereos because nobody here can afford a decent sound system, will help you ring in these various holidays. (If I was listening to quality maybe I wouldn't be so annoyed.) NOT KID-FRIENDLY: If you are a parent I strongly advise against bringing your children into this environment. If you bring children here they will witness drug abuse, alcoholism, dysfunctional families who all seem to hate each other, young women being confronted loudly and pushed around by their teenage boyfriends, racial slurs and profanity yelled out of upper-story apartments to friends in the parking lot below (The "N" and "B" words are still degrading even if said between friends and you don't want your little ones saying it!), and a very visible gang population -- most of whom live in the townhouses up the street with a veritable who's who of sex offenders (check the registry!). If you’re just desperate to live somewhere inexpensive and you think this is your only option -- it’s not. This is a big city. Rent somewhere else. I rented from fall '06 through summer '07. ...
