Be wary when renting when Lake Park. They claimed our dog peed all over the apartment but our dog has been to training, and both my girlfriend and I work from home, so we are both available to consistently take him out. In the lease it states they will
have to replace the entire carpet if it's "sufficient damage". Without even being given the chance to come back and try to reclean, it the entire carpet was ripped up and we have been an invoice for several thousand dollars. Regardless of our dog not peeing all over that place, your pet rent does not cover pet damages. So despite paying extra for him to be on premise, it counts for nothing but their pockets. We thought we had a good relationship with the from office managers who we visited frequently, including with our dog. So this came as a shock to us, to see them play the same games other landlords do. We will never been renting with them or any of their affiliates again. Period. If you are moving in you better bring a blacklight and check the entire apartment and make note of any minor stain whatsoever because they would not provide us documentation from what the prior tenants left. Nice apartments, just be aware of what you are signing up for.
