Great building. They actually have an office onsite with a full time staff. Only about 5 minutes from MU, and close to Summerfest. Be sure to take parking if it is available since it fills up in the winter. I rented from summer '07 through summer '08.

You will pay incredibly high rents to live in a dirty, dingy, rundown building that hasn't been cleaned since it was a factory. Landlords promise big but then disappear once you sign the dotted line. Noisy as hell, always overrun with sketchy people, heaping garbage laying around in the halls and garage, and best of all no one cares. You are on your own to deal with anything that happens. ANYTHING. The building is like housing projects and gives rent-assist programs a bad name. Glad to be leaving this bad experience behind! Only good thing was location, close to Third Ward. Terrible insulation...it actually does not have any so its freezing all the time, even with the heat on. They did not caulk cracks and probably did not caulk anything outside. Cheap walls and poor construction of windows. They should offer free heat with how poorly this place holds heat. Oh well, this will be my only winter here, trust me.
